Popular Hikkaduwa 4-star Hotels

During the season, breakfast is a buffet and they are not bad, but in the off-season the breakfasts are very meager... The coffee is simply disgusting, I have never encountered worse anywhere... But all the shortcomings of the hotel are offset by its location! The best beach, beautiful ocean! And you can simply close your eyes to all the shortcomings and enjoy your vacation! By the way, there are only 10 sun loungers in the hotel, keep in mind...

In July 2024, I spent several days in this hotel. In general, I liked everything, except for some moments. I'll start with the good: excellent location, opposite a supermarket, and nearby there are many shops and benches, a gorgeous view from the window of the ocean, decent breakfasts, a clean pool, the staff's willingness to help at any time, delicious dishes to order from the menu, well-groomed territory. What I didn’t like: the rooms are already tired, they need updating, I lived in room 513. The pool is open until 19.00, which is not at all convenient, because after dinner you also want activity... but there is none)

The hotel is on Hikkaduwa Beach, about 20 kilometers from the ancient city of Galle. The scenery is incomparable, the swimming pool is beautiful, the rooms on the second floor are almost facing the sea, and the first floor is facing the pool ... the gym equipment is a bit behind ... the breakfast is good, the local meals are mainly ...
