Days Inn by Wyndham Tewkesbury Strensham

Pretty good for the price. Close to the motorway.  Room had an odd smell but we slept ok.

I enjoyed my stay, and really, the standards were much higher than expected

The proximity to major routes makes it a practical choice for those on a road trip or needing a stopover. Upon arrival, I found the staff to be friendly and accommodating. They efficiently checked me in and provided all necessary information about the hotel facilities and local amenities. The room itself was clean and well-maintained, albeit slightly basic in terms of decor. However, it had all the essential amenities one would expect, including a comfortable bed, TV, coffee-making facilities, and a clean bathroom. The Wi-Fi connection was reliable throughout my stay, which was a plus for staying connected. One aspect that stood out was the breakfast offered at the hotel. Although it was a simple continental spread, the options were sufficient to start the day, and the quality of the food was decent. While the hotel doesn't offer extensive facilities like a gym or swimming pool, it serves its purpose as a convenient stopover for travelers looking for a comfortable night's rest without unnecessary frills. In terms of value for money, I found the pricing to be reasonable considering the convenience and comfort provided by the hotel. Very pleasantly surprised by the motel. Rooms were a decent size, had a bath (with shower overhead), a fan that was useful for our warm summer night. Staff were friendly and efficient. As the motel is located on the North bound M5 services, it was great to find out there was 'secret' exit if you wanted to exit to the South. Although our room faced the car park, it was very quiet at night and we slept undisturbed with the window open. Would stay again.

Terrible would not recommend Dirty, old, needs updating bed really uncomfortable

Everything I expected were good and similar to hotels in the same budget category.
