I spent four nights there while I attended the Austrian GP in Spielberg. The drive to Spielberg isn't bad, over a mountain with a gravel road. I was delighted with my stay. The family which owns and operates it is very friendly and they do everything. I was impressed by the industry of the family of the neighborhood--it was time to take in the hay and they worked tirelessly to get it in before the rain. The attention to the Gasthof is similar. It was spotless, and well maintained. The beds were comfortable and the area was quiet. The restaurant far exceeded my expectations. I had something different every night, and a grillparty on the weekend. Plenty of choices. Breakfast was included of course, and it was also tremendous. I can't say enough good things about it.

My family and I have been visiting the Gasthof Spengerwirt for many years and absolutely love the wonderful hospitality of this authentic family run hotel that is set in the most beautiful Austrian countryside. The food is traditional, plentiful and delicious and the rooms provide for comfortable and clean accommodation. This is the perfect base to explore the Styria region. We shall return!

Seit vielen Jahren sind wir im Winter sehr zufriedene Stammgäste beim Spengerwirt der Familie Offner/Maggale. Wir können dieses Haus nur bestens empfehlen. Für uns passt der Aufenthalt im Appartement wirklich gut. Es ist alles sehr geräumig, gemütlich, sauber und ordentlich. Beim Frühstücksbuffet findet man alles, was man für einen guten Start in den Tag benötigt. Nach dem Schilaufen am Salzstiegl freuen wir uns täglich auf das schmackhafte Essen im Gasthaus Spengerwirt und auf den Besuch in der hauseigenen Sauna mit angeschlossenem Fitnessraum. Kurzum, in diesem Haus gibt es alles, was wir uns für einen ruhigen und erholsamen Urlaub vorstellen.

Mein Mann und ich waren vom 17.1.2025 bis am 22.1.2025 beim Gasthof Spengerwirt.Es war sehr schön hier ,sehr erholsam .,das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt.Wir haben uns beide sehr wohl gefühlt!🫶🏼In Hirschegg kann man wunderbar wandern ..,und die Seele baumeln lassen!

Wir waren sehr überrascht was die Familie alles leistet und stemmt . Das Frühstück über Kaffee bis hin zum Abendessen alles top. Das Silvester Buffet war der absolute Knaller ,so eine Auswahl und Vielfalt findet man nicht in einem fünf Sterne Hotel . Das Personal einfach freundlich ,immer hilfsbereit. Wir kommen schon viele Jahre, meist zur Weihnachtszeit zum Spengerwirt und können den Aufenthalt hier nur begeistert weiter empfehlen! Auch in diesem Jahr hat wieder alles perfekt gepasst! Das Appartement ist optimal für uns, da wir immer mit unserem Hund unterwegs sind und eine Tür ins Freie haben. Das Essen war wieder einzigartig vom Niveau Luxusrestaurant! Die ganze Familie ist sehr freundlich und bemüht, den Aufenthalt möglichst schön zu gestalten. Danke schön für diese wunderbaren Tage! -Ein Fixpunkt in unserem Jahresablauf!

War mit unserem Dackel und Golden Retriver im Appartement auf Kurzurlaub hier. Sehr nette Gastgeber, wunderbares Essen, herrliche Umgebung für Ruhesuchende, sehr tierfreundlich! Es gab wirklich nichts zu bemängeln. Wir kommen wieder!

Ich kann mich allen vorangegangen positiven Bewertungen nur anschließen. Nette Leute, gemütliche Zimmer (auch wir konnten uns eines aussuchen), sehr gutes Essen und Haushund Lissy hätte ich am liebsten mit nach Hause genommen :-) Das in der Nähe liegende Lipizzaner Gestüt in Piber war auch einen Besuch wert!
