Then grab a beach chair and head to Cummings Beach just steps from the cottage to enjoy some fun in the sun. In the evening, head out to enjoy a sunset meal at the Ledge Water Steak House or head on over to the Homestead for classic New England fare.The cabin has many modern updates including a galley kitchen with apartment-sized oven and refrigerator, sliding vinyl windows, electric fireplace and a tiled shower. The cottage comes equipped with a queen bed and folding futon, as well as a HD TV with Netflix (there is no cable TV). This is a traditional "housekeeping cottage", where guests **provide their own linens & paper products** including all blankets, towels, pillows, paper products, and soaps. There is a fabulous local market (Shacketts) a half mile walk or drive along the lake that offers all essentials as well as meat and seafood for the grill, beer & wine, and locally-famous homemade donuts (fresh and warm at 8 am each morning--yum!) during the summer season.
