I had a pretty good stay at Lize Hotel overall.
Check-in was impressively smooth, even with two bicycles and using a passport, the staff handled everything quickly and efficiently.
The room was clean and pleasant. It’s not luxurious, but it was comfortable and had everything I needed for a short stay.
The location is definitely a highlight. You just cross the road and you’re right in Huzhou’s main tourist area, which made exploring the city incredibly convenient.
That said, the service could use some improvement. There was no laundry machine available, and when I requested extra towels, the staff initially refused. The breakfast was fairly basic and not particularly appealing.
Still, despite a few hiccups, Lize Hotel is a solid option if you're visiting Huzhou and want a well-located, comfortable place to stay. Just don't expect too much in terms of amenities or service.

The room is close to South Taihu Lake, just a few minutes' walk away. The room is small and exquisite, with a large balcony. On a sunny day, it should be nice to enjoy the view from the balcony. There is free parking and breakfast. We were a family trip with 5 people, and the lady was very considerate and brought us another quilt. Worth recommending!

The room is relatively small, but overall it looks clean. The water temperature of the water heater is unstable, and sometimes the water becomes cold when washing. The air conditioner does not heat well.

At the entrance of Fisherman's Wharf, across the street is the food street by the lake, and it only takes about ten minutes to walk to the toilet seat. It's quite quiet when there aren't many guests.
