Highly recommended! The room is clean and hygienic, with complete facilities and good service. The boss is dedicated and attentive. He just arrived at the hotel on the cruise ship. The Nanxun Three-way Tea Ceremony was delivered to the room. Hot tea, seasonal fruits, Dingsheng cakes, and the strong sense of ceremony makes people feel cordial! As soon as I entered the room, the air conditioner was turned on in advance and I was careful everywhere. Morning tea is rich, evening tea is fine, there are souvenirs when you leave the store, regret the time arranged is too tight, and you have the opportunity to meet again!

Take the whole family out for a trip during the Spring Festival holiday. The homestay is located in the ancient town of Nanxun, which is quite convenient for traveling. It was late when we booked, so only the special offer king bed and twin beds were left. The twin room we stayed in was OK. The king-size room had a power outage at first. The kind lady at the front desk moved us to a king-size suite because a guest cancelled the room. The facilities and environment were much better. Thank you. As for food, breakfast is relatively simple and it is enough to fill you up. For dinner... I still recommend eating in the town 😅

The hotel is located in a very central location within the Nan xun ancient village. I contacted the hotel before hand they were very kind to teach me how to get to the Nanxun from the huzhou train station. They even offered to pick me up from the bus station.
The hotel is very clean and comes with a wide range of amenities and the they prepared fruits, bottled water and sparkling water that was refilled on a daily basis.
I really liked the design of the hotel. It is a good mix of modern and oriental.
The breakfast served was delicious and I could tell that the chef puts in a lot of thought and effort into preparing it. You have an option to either have breakfast indoor or by the river.
What really made my stay memorable was the service. The staff were all super hospitable and took very good care of me. I will definitely choose to stay in this hotel again if I go back to Nanxun! Thank you!

Facilities: The newly opened homestay has new and complete facilities, the room layout is good, the air conditioning is powerful, and there is a flat surface at the bathroom door where you can put things, which is very convenient.
Hygiene: Very, very clean, the sheets, quilts and pillows are spotless, the bathroom has fresh air, the homestay is relatively new and has no decoration smell, and you can tell at first glance that it is very attentive.
Environment: The room is close to the road leading to the ancient town. Various cars often drive by at night, which may affect light sleepers. The soundproofing of the room is average. If the TV in the next room is turned on loudly at night, you can hear it.
Service: The boss and his wife were very welcoming. They helped us check in early and were responsive to our requests during our stay. We were served ”Nanxun Three-Course Tea”, which has local characteristics. The breakfast is homely, clean and tastes good.

I spent a night here in this homestay. The location is very nicely placed, not too far from the watertown itself. You can stay out until after 10PM and still walk back to the homestay without worrying. The room I received upon check-in is identical to the photos provided by Trip.com! The traveller should use the common space at the Level 2 for any tasks requiring tables and chairs as the room provided is strictly for rest and freshening up.
The air-conditioning has good strength and no odors, and the mattress + pillows + blanket comfy! There are also slippers if you like. The traveller can get their rest pretty easily for the night in preparation for setting off in the early morning to explore Nanxun Watertown.
If the traveller needs any additional recommendation for good food to eat while staying here, the homestay also gives recommendations on where to eat in Nanxun. I really enjoyed myself and if I do make another visit here, I would love to stay here again.
PS. The hotel provided me both reusable and one-use slippers, which is a plus. One thing I forgot to mention to them upon checking out, they might need to check the other room to find a pair of reusables for two left feet. My room got the two right feet :D

The environment of the small courtyard is superb! Great value for money, the boss family is warm and sincere, the room is very clean, the dishes are fresh and delicious, especially recommended farm chicken! Chicken is a walking chicken on the mountain, the meat is super tender and the soup is delicious! Both meals were eaten at their home, very delicious! Breakfast is also delicious, the fried dumplings for breakfast are packaged by the boss himself, absolutely! Super expected stay experience, next time you will choose your hospital, I wish the boss a prosperous business!
GGuest UserTravelers beware! The photos advertising Ke Gamer do not resemble to actual room and the food is horrible. I opted to upgrade to the private hot spring villa for close to 4000rmb a night expecting a high class experience but was instead highly disappointed!
We arrived on a Saturday and reserved a table at the restaurant, famished from traveling and expecting a wonderful meal. They did not mention that this was a set menu (only for the package that was included with the room) so there was no option to select my dishes nor to explain our gluten free diet. First bread came (couldn’t eat it, gluten) then a mushroom chicken soup that was difficult to swallow. Over salted and the chicken was rubbery. Then came there version of a kimchi that was ok. Shrimp next that was battered (gluten) and smothered in mayonnaise, and then an over salted spicy beef dish and inedible veggies dish.At this point we decided to leave and opted instead to pay for food delivery. When we shared this information with the assistant helping us he messaged me saying you are a foreigner would you prefer chicken wings or a steak. I’ve been living in China 10 years and never spoken to so rudely. My gf then wanted to have a soak in the hot spring and have a fire because the rain had stopped but she was told no they could not do this for us that night. That’s when I added the wechat and she deleted him so she would no longer have to talk to someone so rude. We did find it strange that even though I was now in communication with him he still attempted to friend my gf several times, very disrespectful!! After I explained how unsatisfactory the service was to that point he made more of an effort and we did get to enjoy a relaxing evening outside. The next day we stayed away from the restaurant not wanting to have that experience again so ordered delivery service again, decent food for delivery. We did attempt the on site restaurant one more time before checking out for breakfast and this was awful as well. Cold eggs, bacon and sausage. They did have a nice assortment of breads which we could not eat (gluten) so we had a yogurt container and coffee before leaving.
One part of the stay was an assistant driving us into town to a nice tea shop. He took us tot he location and offered to help us select a shop. He was very friendly and helpful inside the shop to explain the differences in teas and get us a good deal. We ended up purchasing 2 boxes of tea to take home.
Overall I did not enjoy the stay at this overpriced and falsely advertised hotel. This is certainly one case when we did not get what we paid for. Wishing you better luck than we had.
MMiamiaAn amazing hotel! I came to Hangzhou to watch a play during the Qingming Festival, and stayed in Moganshan for two days. I wanted to feel the deep greenery in Moganshan, but I didn't feel it in the mountains (the scenic spot was somewhat over-promoted...), but I completed the closed loop in Zhimagu Hotel. It can be seen that the design of this hotel is very bold and attentive. Each room has a unique design style, classical Chinese, European, American, Southeast Asian, ******* style... I was dazzled when choosing a room. If I wasn't afraid of trouble, I would even want to change the style every day~ The reception area and restaurant of the entire hotel are filled with various green plants, medieval furniture and interesting sculptures and paintings. The sun shines in through the large French windows of the Elf Restaurant. The whole space looks patchwork in the extremely complex style, as if it is located in Southeast Asia. The breakfast in the restaurant and the stir-fried dishes in the Chinese restaurant are good. The waiters are generally young, and they are all very cute and friendly sisters and brothers. The housekeeper Xiaoyu is very thoughtful. She took the initiative to help with luggage, deliver things to the room, introduce travel guides, etc. I love you~🩷The cats and dogs in the store are well raised. They live a more comfortable life than me in a picturesque place. I envy them so much😭
GGuest UserTo sum it up, my child loved this hotel and wants to come back again!~
From the moment we checked in, the reception staff were incredibly thoughtful, explaining all the important details. We had mentioned bringing a baby beforehand, and upon entering the room, we found a bed rail already installed, along with birthday decorations and a complimentary cake!~
All the hotel staff were warm and attentive, especially Lumi, the young man with glasses (we even found his photo!), the big brother at the shooting range, and the young lady who helped us make scented cards. (Oh, and all the staff are great photographers, haha!) The chef was also very friendly and interacted warmly with my little one! ❤️
The restaurant's food was delicious! My child ate six ribs all by themselves! 🤣
The environment was very photogenic, and there were plenty of activities. Both adults and children had a wonderful time. They even gave us a souvenir when we left, and there were no unjustified charges.
A small suggestion: the room didn't have a step stool or baby slippers for children, but we brought our own, so it wasn't a big deal. Also, the kids' club could stay open a little later in the evening, as my child wanted to play a bit more after dinner. ☺️
AanotheritchieWhat a fantastic villa and a wonderful stay. We arrived later at night but we’re still greeted by our friendly hosts at the carpark. The girls at the villa went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable … their service was excellent tending to our every need, they had even pre-warmed our room before our arrival (we stayed in the middle of winter). We also brought our 2 dogs, and whilst most stays that we’ve been to are tolerant of dogs this villa also strived to make their stay as comfortable also, providing extra dog beds for them and also giving them both a little breakfast for both the days we stayed. I cannot stress how amazing the service was the girls not only tended to all our requests but also offered well thought services, like providing a sweet dessert to help with dry throats. The venue is super cosy with a modern traditional facade, the room itself was modern, clean and comfortable. The direct area surrounding the villa is made up of small stores with some being under construction, the girls guided us to a local restaurant which was very good. Within walking distance there are playgrounds, small trails and vegetable gardens which was perfect for our morning dog walks, we surprisingly spent more time exploring the local area than we thought we would. The Chinese breakfast served was delicious, and for the coffee fiends I can confirm it’s good, made from a proper machine. Overall fantastic stay, incredible hosts and scenic surrounding areas to explore
JJelenaPMy stay at the Naked Stable Retreat was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the heart of nature, the accommodations offered a remarkable sense of privacy, allowing us to feel as if we were one with the surrounding woods. The air was fresh, and the soothing sounds of birds provided a healing backdrop that encouraged relaxation.
The retreat offers a variety of complimentary activities, including horse riding and pottery lessons, making it easy to immerse oneself in the natural beauty. The complex features well-maintained walking trails, multiple swimming pools, and three restaurants, all set against a stunning hilly backdrop adorned with coniferous forests, bamboo groves, and tea plants.
Breakfast was a delightful experience, featuring a fantastic selection of Chinese, European, and African dishes, catering to every palate. This is not just a hotel; it’s a thoughtfully designed retreat dedicated to enjoying nature, escaping the stresses of daily life, and engaging in activities that promote a healthier and happier lifestyle.
I must highlight the exceptionally friendly staff. Upon arrival, we were assigned a private assistant via WeChat, Simmons_911, who was always available to provide information and guide us through our daily activities, from restaurant bookings to extended check-out arrangements. The responsiveness and flexibility of the staff truly enhanced our experience, and it was a pleasure to have the General Manager personally welcome us.
For those who prefer not to walk, electric buggies are available to navigate the complex, ensuring comfort in the heat. I can't praise this retreat enough! It has certainly become a place I will dream about whenever I yearn for those precious moments of relaxation and enjoyment. Highly recommend!
BBeaunitta van WykWhat a beautiful place to break away from the noise of everyday life!
The entire camp has such a calm, serene, almost zen-like atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful and well thought out. The design and layout of the place are stunning. There’s bamboo growing everywhere, adding to the natural, tranquil vibe. The cabins themselves are pretty modern and clean.
The staff we interacted with was incredibly kind, friendly, and genuinely helpful - even though there was a language barrier.
Whether we needed a ride somewhere around the camp (which was always available thanks to staff driving around regularly) or had a question, they were always happy to assist. Adding reception on WhatsApp made things even easier – they responded quickly to any requests we had.
The food was amazing. We especially loved the Chinese restaurant – every dish we tried was full of flavor.
There’s a communal pool and other fun activities like paddling, which unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy due to the weather. Still, it’s nice to know they’re available. There’s also a small animal park where one can see peacocks, goats, chickens and ducks. It’s also nice to just walk around the camp.
The views are just gorgeous, and the whole environment encourages you to relax and slow down. All in all, it’s the perfect place to unwind, recharge, and just enjoy some peace and the beauty of nature.
One small downside was that there was only one coffee machine available at breakfast, which led to a long line. We ended up buying coffee, which was a bit inconvenient—especially since we could’ve had coffee for free. 🤭
I highly recommended Elephant and Moon! Would love to visit again!
GGuest UserThe stay was absolutely fantastic! Upon entering the room, we were immediately struck by how clean and fresh it felt. The room was beautifully decorated, creating a really cozy atmosphere. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable – we just wanted to sink into it and never leave! The hotel facilities were also excellent and well-maintained. The TV, air conditioning, and other appliances all worked perfectly, and there was always plenty of hot water, making for wonderfully comfortable showers. The complimentary toiletries in the bathroom were also of good quality, which was a pleasant surprise. The service at the hotel was absolutely outstanding. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, always ready to help promptly with any issues we had. Breakfast was also very generous, offering a wide variety of delicious options. The hotel's location was also very convenient, with excellent transport links nearby, making it easy to explore.
GGuest UserWe found this OldTown NanXun and love the look of it, so we booked the Accommodation at this Location.
It turns out to be a very nice place: it's right in the OldTown area, walk thru the Boutique with nice silk clothes and stuff
Fortunately we picked the Ground Level as we have big suitcases; wouldnt be happy to carry them upstairs.
The Room is well equipped with nice bed, pillows and beddings. Bathroom is well equipped, clean and smells good.
They do have a Spa but it's outdoor and we were too tired to go out.
There's tea and teapot supplied and you can have a sip after the walks around the area.
The Location is first-class: just a few steps to the action. I think I really love this HanXun Old Town; it's not too busy compared to the other Old Town, and it's full of Locals!
Most remarkable is the friendliness: Before we check-in I text them and they gave me the exact location for our Vehicle (since the access to the Old Town is quite challenging). If you have large suitcases and dont like climbing up stairs, I would strongly recommend you to contact them beforehand.
And on our check-out date, we have to return to ShangHai, a nice gentleman was very helpful, he helped us to talk to the Drivers and found us a suitable Transport. He spent over 30-minutes with us and we were very grateful.
If there is one thing I would recommend for improvement, perhaps the young man can slow-down in his smoking.
My husband and I have been smokers, but we have both quit. Hope he will do so one day for his health sake.
Cheers!
RRoman B.We have rented the villa with 4 beds (the green style) for new year celebration with friends and when arrived to location were guided to the villa; however, immediately found that the villa was not cleaned after previous visitors. We returned to the reception and asked to arrange cleaning quickly, reception staff requested us to wait for cleaning staff and that the cleaning will take about 1 hour, we returned back to villa area but nobody was coming for cleaning for a long time, we have pushed for service several times and finally people from reception came to clean the facility instead of cleaning staff. Obviously, there is not enough personnel available. Special comment on this villa - it looks not good inside and clearly requires renewal of decoration.
After some discoveries during cleaning procedures, we finally insisted to change the villa as the current one was too dirty and cleaning went extremely slow. Another option was offered pretty quick and it was a good replacement - new decoration, clean and nice looking Van Gogh style decoration (pictures attached are from this one), however, we lost some time and instead of check-in at 3pm, we completed everything only about 4:00pm (we arrived around 2 pm, so all procedures took around 2 hours). We were offered to delay our check-out till 4:00pm next day to compensate the time loss.
All in all, everything ended well and our celebration was great, but too much challenges on the way, this is not what you expect for almost 2000RMB per night.
