Property Description
Well… not actually a tree house, but you'll feel like you're in one. Nestled behind two huge boulders, on a quiet street, lies this 1938 vintage cabin, with views of tree or sky from every window. The space: Large living room and open kitchen, with an island that is great for cooking and entertaining. A beautiful restored Wedgewood stove is the centerpiece of the kitchen. There is an old oak pub table, with a unique mica hanging lamp, in the dining area that can extend for seating up to six people (vintage folding chairs available). Upstairs master bedroom has en suite 1/2 bath, Casper bed, and reading area with a claw foot oak reclining Morris chair. The other bedroom is larger, but is open to the stairwell, so not quite the privacy of the master. Downstairs bath has a claw foot tub with shower and mosaic tile floor. Coffee beans and a grinder provided. We have a French press and 4 cup coffee maker also. There is a Gas BBQ on the deck. Fast 500 Mbs WiFi. No frilly curtains, kitsch or tchotchkes… just classic cabin! $50 pet fee per week or portion thereof. As noted in our house rules, pet owners are not allowed to instant book. Five people allowed if one can sleep on the couch. This is a 1938 vintage cabin. We do everything we can to make it comfortable AND authentic, but please don’t expect Herman Miller- like dining seating, or hermetically sealed windows. There may be squeaky wood floors and clickety door knobs… but we do promise a unique experience. Other things to note: We have one air conditioner downstairs and one in the upstairs bedroom that is there only in the summer. There are fans upstairs to move that cool air around. On hot days we open the windows at night and close them in the morning, and the place will stay cool most of the day.About pets:Pets allowed: dogs less than 50 lbs per pet (limit one pet total). One small, well behaved dog is allowed..About checkOut:Check out before 12:00 PM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About customRules:Quiet time outside and on deck 9p-8a. We found spiders in the bed. The shower was dirty. The grill and cover were filthy. An embarrassment

Charismatic cabin The cabin just draws you in . The property has a lower level from the driveway that's perfect for our bikes during the day.My wife almost disappeared in the bathtub. From the cabin it's only a 5-minute bike ride (at a leisurely pace) to the Village.

All was well. It’s a lovely cabin with all the amenities and just a few minutes from town. Very peaceful among the trees from the deck and in the back yard. Nice that it is all fenced in. Felt very comfortable there. Hosts were very responsive. Thanks!

Lovely stay at Twin Rocks We enjoyed our weekend stay at Twin Rocks. It’s a lovely place, very clean and such nice touches. I enjoyed sitting outside in the front and on the back porch, and all the light coming in from the many windows.

Twin Rocks Really Rocked Felt like home away from home! Had everything and more. Incase you may have forgotten to bring on the trip! Communication with Owner & Manager was the Best! Answered any of my Questions since I'm a Preparer/Pre-Planner for My Trips/Vacations & the did not disappoint as well as the Cabin was on Point & would Rebook Again anytime. The Rate/Cost of the Cabin was Good for the Last Minute Booking I had made. Thanks John & John for all your assistant & Lara even if I didn't speak to her!

Sweet 16 We stayed at this adorable cabin to celebrate my daughter's 16th birthday. I have an affinity for old houses and the character built into them, and this one really did not disappoint. Absolutely adorable and super close to town! The hosts were very easy to reach and communicate with

Gem in the woods This cottage is a gem! From the beautiful hardwood floors, to the vintage Wedgewood range, to the art on the walls. The interior is gracious and comfortable and the back deck is private and quiet - perfect for morning coffee, an evening cocktail, or dinner under the stars. The hosts were very attentive - answering our questions quickly and anticipating any needs. My husband and I will definitely stay here again, only this time for more than 2 nights.

Quiet Cabin in the trees Upon arrival, even before entry, this cabin was exactly what we were looking for. A back yard deck surrounded with trees, a quiet bit of nature. The house has all amenities one needs. All cleaned showing no previous use. A comfortable bed. Easy check in, check out. The best is the easy contact with owner making sure all was OK with us. Indeed a super host and hostess. Thank you for the notebook of local history

Perfectly calming and comfortable We had an amazing few nights at this charming cabin during our big honeymoon road trip. It was an instant classic, and it’s became an unexpected core memory of our honeymoon so far. We loved it as our hub for the Jacinto Wilderness and Tahquitz rock, which is all just simply amazing. The house makes for a great place to relax and unwind too, as it’s fully accommodated for comfort and ease, even if it feels a little hot outside in the Summer. Great balcony too. We loved it so much we decided to stay an extra night when we learned it was available. John was super helpful, and made it easy to extend this part of our honeymoon experience. Thank you! We highly recommend.
