We were really impressed with this hotel. We were in Indianapolis for the eclipse (along with thousands of others, I assume!), and had booked this hotel 10 months in advance. Upon arriving, the desk clerk asked if we needed eclipse glasses, which we found very accommodating. The rooms were good, everything was in order and clean. When we were ready to observe the eclipse, we were just going to the parking lot of the hotel (along with other groups staying at the hotel). We had neglected to bring any chairs, but the front desk clerk assisted us with moving some of the chairs from the pool area (which was still closed this time of year) to the parking lot for us to use. The breakfast was fantastic. So many selections, and the attendant for the dining area was constantly refreshing the selections and cleaning the area. The hotel was fully booked, yet we did not have any problems with noise or with having a good breakfast even during the end of the service time for the meal. We will definitely plan on using this Comfort Inn location for other trips to this area.

We spent two nights in the King Suite. Our room seemed to be clean and the bed was fairly comfortable. The jacuzzi tub was nice but most all of the caulking was cracked and molded and the water was barely hot enough for a nice soaking bath. The small fridge, microwave, and sink were a nice feature of the room. An updated and accurate television station guide would have been very handy. Breakfast was sub-par with very limited choices including some very rubbery eggs and sausage links that did not taste well. More hot options would have been nice as well as more hot and cold cereal options as well as fruit. There were other visible areas where you could see the hotel is in need of updating. Scratched and peeling paint as well as bare spots in the carpet. The hotel wasn't bad but with so many other choices we would probably try another option if back in the area.
