We will never stay at this hotel again. The biggest issue is our car was hit in a hit and run in the hotel’s parking garage and, despite the $43 to $48 per day charge to park here, THERE ARE NO CAMERAS IN THE GARAGE. The police came and made a report, but without cameras there’s not a whole lot they can do. Doug, the parking manager, helped us as much as he could and told us he has been telling the Hyatt since he started working there they need to put cameras in the parking garage, Doug did waive the parking fee, but we are now out our own money to get our car fixed. We asked to speak to the general manager of the hotel, Tim Ribich, but he was always “in a meeting” and never contacted us or made himself available to speak to us when we asked multiple times. Also, the TV did not work when we checked into our room and the water pressure is terrible. Very disappointing experience. Stay away from this place!

Third time staying here. Lovely hotel, clean, good staff, comfortable beds, hot water, cold AC. We had a room with shower but not accessible room. Location of room down hall off lobby. The shower was easy to get in & out of. They provided us with a shower chair. Want to give a shout out to Francisco tending to breakfast buffet. He kept everything filled, went around taking our dirty dishes & disposing of them & kept tables clean as people finished eating. Had last call before 10am & closing. Coffee is good. Our go to hotel when in Indianapolis.

The location is very good and many attractions are within walking distance. The hotel staff is very good at serving. The privacy of the hotel is very good. The pool is nice. The disadvantage is that the parking lot is expensive. Hotel staff suggested that we parked in the opposite shopping garage, which cost less than half of the hotel. There is also a feeling that the paper towels of the five-star hotel are very poor. There was no breakfast at the hotel because there were too many good restaurants to choose from.

Stayed one night with my teenage daughter due to a local softball tournament. First the positives. Every employee was great from start to finish. Rarely do you find all employees are great but it was true for this hotel. I was able to check in early after calling to see if anything was available. This was a life saver since the tournament was delayed due to rains. Breakfast was well stocked and the area was kept clean. Needs improvement. There are signs that the property is under exterior renovations through the end of 2024. I’m not sure if the interior is included but it is badly needed. The room was clean and fine. The hallways are not great, I would say multiple years overdue for carpet, wallpaper, etc. Checkout was a breeze and we were even given a couple of bottles of cold water for the road. There was also a welcome letter for our softball club and they put out some gatorade bottles and rice crispy treats for the team. This was a nice touch. I didn’t feel dirty after my stay so I would stay again but with the hopes of interior hallway upgrades.

I enjoyed my stay very much! The staff is top notch and being so close to the canal to go for morning strolls was so nice. Breakfast every morning in the lobby was wonderful too. I didn’t use the pool or fitness center but whenever I passed by there was always someone in there using them, which tells me they’re operational. There is a fire pit area outside of the hotel that leads to the canal and it’s the perfect place to wake up and enjoy a cup of coffee. The entrance to the hotel is absolutely beautiful. When my family dropped me off at my hotel they couldn’t get past how beautiful it looked. They let me know they’ll be staying here instead of the hotels they stayed in during their next trip to Indianapolis.

I have never stayed at a Courtyard Marriott that was so filthy in my entire life. We are Marriott rewards members, but since we booked through a third party, I think we got the shaft (hotels don't like that). We were visiting for a family reunion, and upon check-in found out the Starbucks coffee was unavailable because the breakfast area was closed down for COVID. Now, I understand Corona problems, but nowhere on their website did they mention this, however there was a Starbucks 1 mile up the street open??? After visiting with family, we came back to the hotel about 10:30pm. Exhausted I pulled back the sheets to find a stain that looked like blood or jelly. Either way, I did not want to sleep there. (see pics). Therefore, in my nightgown and leggings, I shlepped down to the front desk and asked for another room. We were given a room on the first floor (note: there is smoking in this hotel, so it travels up). After moving all of our belongings, about 11:15 pm, we checked the beds. A ok. However, the bathtub was filthy (see pics). Also, do not plan on house-service...again, was not mentioned on the website. Never, ever, ever, ever, ever again. Keep driving up the highway about a mile for a nicer Marriott.
