Elodie Hotel truly exceeded our expectations ✨ The first-line lake view room offered an absolutely stunning vista; opening the window revealed the breathtaking scenery of Lugu Lake, and waking up to that view was incredibly therapeutic 🌊 The service was thoughtful and attentive, with staff members Xiao He and Ci Er being enthusiastic and patient, always responding promptly to our needs, which made everything so easy. The room's soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a quiet and undisturbed sleep – absolutely perfect 💤 The location is also very convenient, making travel and dining hassle-free. Every detail was meticulously taken care of, offering exceptional value for money. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Lugu Lake. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed! 🌟"

"Facilities: Aside from the bathtub in the room and the lake-view terrace, the hotel also has a coffee machine, a restaurant, photo spots (on the first and fourth floors), a parking lot, and outdoor chairs by the lake. Cleanliness: Relatively clean. Ambiance: You can see the lake right from your bed, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Service: The service was excellent. We arrived very late, and our butler, Zhima, waited until 11 or 12 PM to help with our luggage. In the morning, she reminded us about breakfast, but since we were going on a boat trip, she kept our breakfast warm until we returned. It was lovely to have a hot meal! She also helped us arrange a photoshoot. Luxury Chinese Afternoon Tea: We arrived too late and missed the afternoon tea, only having breakfast in the morning. Souvenir: We received a pack of rose brown sugar. 🌹 Travel Photography Experience (5 digital raw photos): The photographer was quite good. You need to book in advance. The photoshoot lasts half an hour and includes 5 digital raw photos or 3 retouched photos. Each additional raw photo costs 30 RMB, and each additional basic retouched photo costs 50 RMB."

"This hotel in Lugu Lake is an absolute gem, what an amazing experience! I was so pleasantly surprised by my stay here. The front desk staff were warm and incredibly thoughtful; they contacted me a week in advance, and upon arrival, they proactively helped with my luggage. After check-in, they escorted us to our room and kindly reminded us to turn on the humidifier at night and keep the AC temperature below 20 degrees. In the evening, there's a resident singer on the first floor with a wonderfully soothing voice, and you can order various drinks – it's so relaxing and comfortable. The breakfast selection is rich and fresh, and all the staff members have an excellent attitude. Plus, the complimentary sweet soup at night is fantastic, and the afternoon tea is also delicious. The room facilities are complete and very cozy, and the staff are always responsive and incredibly patient with any requests. Absolutely no regrets about any part of my stay. Next time I visit Lugu Lake, I'll definitely choose this place again. Highly recommended!"

"The hotel environment is excellent, and the staff are very enthusiastic, especially A Wen, who picked us up. One of our rooms even got an upgrade! The local power system is unstable, and I hope the hotel can adjust the TV system. It's a bit startling if the power goes out in the middle of the night! Getting in and out of the hotel parking lot is a bit tricky; it feels like taking a driving test every day! Lugu Lake is incredibly beautiful and perfect for unwinding. I hope to have the chance to visit a fourth time soon and stay here again."

"This guesthouse is right on the lake, so you can sit outside and just relax, watching the lake and the seagulls. The housekeeper, Erche, provided excellent service. When we needed more chairs, he brought them out specially for us. The pick-up and drop-off service was also great. Our room was clean and tidy, and the heating was very strong and warm. When we checked out, they even gave us traditional brown sugar as a gift. We'll definitely be back, and I hope we can get a room again next time!"

"This hotel boasts an elegant, comfortable, and impeccably clean environment. The rooms are spacious and spotless, and the balcony opens up directly to a stunning lake view. The service was absolutely first-class; they even upgraded us for free to a room with an even better view and thoughtfully brought us afternoon tea. The hotel's breakfast selection was also very rich, and I especially have to praise the rice noodles – they were absolutely delicious! We initially planned to stay just one night at Lugu Lake, but we were so captivated by the hotel's ambiance, service, and rooms that we ended up staying an extra night! When we checked out, they overheard that our car was parked in a different lot, so they graciously drove us there in their own car (even though the parking lot was only a few minutes from the hotel). You can feel their genuine warmth and hospitality at all times. I've already recommended it to friends, and my daughter says she wants to stay here again next time we visit Lugu Lake. It's truly, truly, truly excellent!"

"We had a comfortable stay here, breakfast was provided and beds were comfortable. You walk out and you are facing the Lugu lake too! A beautiful site. Only thing was that towels provided were disposable, and some room lights needed fixing. Hosts are really friendly and reply WeChat timely. There isn’t an elevator on the facilities and you might initially think you arrive at the wrong place when you arrive by car. You would need to walk through a backyard of a local house before you reach the accoms. They do ask for feedback about your stay which I really appreciate. And they have explained some concepts after my feedback. I think this is a nice accoms to consider for your stay. They do adjust their amenities according to past feedback too. Family room was kind of fun!"

"I rarely leave reviews, but I really didn't want to leave, so I'm writing this on the road. I booked this hotel specifically for its lake-view restaurant. Even though I knew it had many positive reviews and would be good, it still far exceeded my expectations after checking in. The facilities are excellent, and the attention to detail is impressive. It's rare to find a place that even provides alcohol wipes and face towels, which shows they genuinely care about their guests. Even as a germaphobe, I couldn't find a single flaw with the cleanliness. The service, in particular, deserves a special mention. Both the front desk lady and the shuttle driver were warm, considerate, and professional. Upon arrival, the front desk proactively upgraded my room and thoughtfully showed me both the original and upgraded room types so I could choose for myself. The shuttle driver was also always responsive and meticulous. Regarding the environment, both the public areas and the rooms seamlessly blend with the scenery of Lugu Lake. Just sitting by the window in the room, enjoying the view, was incredibly relaxing. The restaurant offers even more breathtaking panoramic views of the lake and mountains. The hotel's ambiance perfectly mirrors Lugu Lake itself – serene, elegant, and secluded. Compared to Lijiang, Dali, or Shangri-La, Lugu Lake lacks the over-commercialized hustle and bustle, offering more pristine, natural beauty, especially during the off-season. It's tranquil and leisurely, perfect for unwinding and contemplation. It's a shame I couldn't stay a few more days. Until next time, Lugu Lake and Alabera!"

"We stayed here for 2 nights and it was so comfortable that we didn't want to leave. This time we stayed with my family and everyone was very happy. We were very touched by many aspects of this hotel. We really did not choose the wrong accommodation. First of all, the service of the team was very considerate. They would try their best to arrange some of our needs. They also have a pick-up service to Luoshui Village, which is very convenient for going out for dinner and shopping. The room was very comfortable and the scenery was really great. On the morning of the first day, my family went out, and I didn't want to go out. I stayed in the room while watching Lugu Lake and reading a book. It was very comfortable. We saw the fire clouds and rainbows from the room. We were so happy this time! There are many thoughtful details in the room, such as a small box next to the bed for things that may be needed for sleeping, such as earplugs, steam eye masks, and mosquito coils. Especially considerate consideration 👍 The rice noodles for breakfast are very delicious, very similar to the taste of my childhood, we all like it. There is also afternoon tea, which is delicious. "The waiters Bajin and Zhuoma were very enthusiastic and attentive in entertaining us. The hotel environment is very clean and the scenery is also charming. The only drawback is that the second floor of the room is very hot. Thanks to Bajin for bringing an air conditioner up for us, it was a little cooler. The hotel can also rent clothes for taking pictures. Bajin's photography skills are really good and they are all very good! The overall accommodation experience is very good and worth recommending!"
