The check-in process was seamless and warm, with staff who were not only efficient but genuinely welcoming. Their attention to detail made me feel immediately cared for. My room was spotless, modern, and thoughtfully designed, offering a beautiful view of the surrounding city. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room amenities—ranging from high-quality toiletries to a well-stocked minibar—made the stay feel luxurious and convenient. One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet. The selection was impressive, with both Korean and international options, all fresh and beautifully presented. It was the perfect way to start each day. The hotel’s location is another huge plus—quiet enough for restful nights, yet close to notable attractions, the Expo Park, and convenient transportation hubs. Whether for business or leisure, it’s an ideal base in Daejeon. What truly sets Lotte City Hotel Daejeon apart is the service. Every staff member I interacted with was courteous, professional, and eager to help. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was flawless. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Daejeon. It exceeded my expectations in every way, and I will absolutely return on my next trip!"

"Plenty of wardrobe/cupboard space. Good size fridge. Washing machine in the room and free drying on the 13th floor (roof). There are no utensils in the room; you have to get it from the first floor. Although the room was spacious it felt tight because of the small space to get by at the foot end of the bed. No hot water,. We complained on day 2 and somebody came to the room to turn the main power off and on again. Then it worked for about 10nmonites nad gone again. We had to shower with cod water. IN AUTUMN! Location was very good as it is close to a metro station and a huge E-Mart grocery store."

"The room is big, modern, and have Netflix. The room I booked is the spa room, and the bathtub with jet stream is absolutely amazing. The welcome meal is decent, 2 cup of beers and few pieces of fried chicken, a wonderful night at this hotel!"

"Terrible service for the reception staff named ***** *** if I had not miss spelled it. She was very rude and impatient when I asked her for card renewal. She used “You don’t understand…” “You must…” ( with horrible facial expressions). Don’t understand how the hotel manager selected and trained this stuff. She lacks the basic sense of being sincere and helpful. I can tell directly if this person is sincerely care about others or treat people differently in public or private( between me and her). Other people I met in Korean are warm and loving except for this lady. She ruined my day. She ruined my perfect impression of Daejeon. Hope she will be treated the exact same way when she is travelling and I definitely don’t want to see her or talk to her again. Lastly, apologise for my unpleasant review to the rest staff working in the hotel who are really kind and supportive!"

"We enjoyed our weekend trip in Daejeon. The hotel was easy to get to from the train station. Also easy to get to local sites using taxi or metro. You can walk to many restaurants and coffee shops nearby, as well as the public foot bath. There is a CU located on the ground floor. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and quiet. We'd happily stay here again."

"This is a hotel you must visit when you come to Daejeon. It is very accessible to Shinsegae Department Store and is friendly. However, it is disappointing that there are only a few breakfast options and there is no bathtub."

"The location is excellent, not far from the subway and airport bus stop, both within a roughly ten-minute walk. The room is very spacious; two 26-inch suitcases can be opened simultaneously with plenty of space left over. Housekeeping replenishes two bottles of mineral water daily. If you don't need cleaning, you can hang the 'Do Not Disturb' sign, and the staff will leave fresh towels and water outside your door for replacement. A special shout-out to the bathroom lighting! It's white light, not overhead, which is fantastic for applying makeup as you can see your true reflection. The hotel includes breakfast, with both Korean and Western options. While the variety isn't huge, the food tastes good, and the menu changes slightly every day. Overall, it's a hotel with great value for money, and I would definitely choose to stay here again."

"This was my first time visiting a hotel in Daejeon, and it was quite large in size, and above all, the parking lot was spacious, so it was quite comfortable. Also, the room condition was quite good, and I think the good scent and clean, well-equipped bedding had a positive effect on my stay. If I go to Daejeon again, I think I will definitely remember this hotel as one I want to visit again."

"The space was a bit small, but it was still new, so it was clean and the heating and cooling worked well. I really liked the large TV, and the bathroom was also great. The water pressure was strong, it was spacious, and the hot water came out well. I want to go again next time. However, the only inconvenience was that the water in the sink didn't drain well."
