Georgia Power will initiate the drawdown on October 25. The lake will be lowered by approximately 5 feet and will drop by approximately ½ foot each day to reach a minimum elevation of 335 feet above sea level on November 1. The lake refill will commence on December 1 and will reach full pool as soon as possible.
