"Would say is a great budget hotel. Perfect location to all the tourist attractions. Famous Cowen St chicken rice less than 5 mins walk. The others onn kee chicken rice etc area about 10mins.. same like those concubine lane tourist attractions. Overall room is good. Just the nite, opposite hotel is nite spot area .is abit noisy as our room is facing main road. Great price .."

The room is small but equipped with all necessities like towels, hair dryer, mineral water, coffee and shampoo.

"It is a very lovely guest house with great atmosphere. Especially, I have to thank a staff who was on duty on 18th night shift sincerely. My grandmother was uncomfortable on that night, we were looking for pills to stop her stomach ache from the reception at around 3am in the midnight, the staff was very kind, he drove my sister to the nearest convenience store to get the pills and finally my grandmother felt better after that."

"We are pleased with the unit. Simple and yet cosy deco. They even have water dispenser. Crucially it was very clean, quite new plc and importantly for my daughter, the toilet comes with bidet (though It took me a few attempts to try to confirm it) . Self Check in and check out was simple and smooth.
However, we wished the toilet comes with shower and toilet separator/door for the shower so that we can keep the toilet area dry. Important especially if there is only 1 bathroom for the whole unit. Just as a feedback
BTW, the attached photos was at the point of checking out. We left it clean and neat too. 😁 Thank you for the pleasant stay. Yes, a stay experience that we can repeat ."

NNurul23Overall, my recent stay at your hotel had some truly delightful aspects, alongside an area where I believe there's significant room for improvement.
The ambience of the rooms was absolutely lovely. I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and comfort they provided. A particular highlight for me was the bath gel – the white tea and camellia scent was so captivating that I actually purchased it to use at home! It's rare to find such a memorable amenity.
However, I was not very keen on the front counter service. I found it to be too cold and not particularly friendly or welcoming. The interaction felt impersonal, and I believe that the initial impression at the front desk is crucial for guests to feel comfortable and valued from the moment they arrive.
I would strongly suggest improvising your front counter service. By fostering a warmer and more approachable demeanor, your staff can ensure that guests feel genuinely welcome and comfortable from the very start of their hotel experience.

I stayed at Travelodge Ipoh for 4 nights and extended for one more day at because I truly enjoyed my experience. The room was clean, cozy, and very comfortable — especially the bed and pillows, which gave me excellent sleep.
The front desk staff were polite, friendly, and always ready to help. Check-in was smooth, and every interaction with the staff was warm and welcoming.
The location is great — close to local food spots and attractions, yet peaceful enough for proper rest. It’s a perfect balance of convenience and comfort.
Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Ipoh. I’ll definitely return!

GGuest UserThis hotel is a good hotel to stay they have a small fan inside the room which is rare nowadays and also aircond which can make your room colder. Bed quite good but the space quite limited if you have a big lugage u might need more space which room i staying at cannot offer because the space really limited (im not joking) and their bathroom can occupied one person but i love the mirror which separate the toilet and shower area ... besides their room service employee quit nice i did ask for more tissue towel and they hands me along the bottle water as i did not request for room make up so i had no complaint about that .. and i love their basement parking which u can enter your floor directly from the parking area .. they also serve a very good breakfast i really love their phrata and dhal gravy .. one thing that i would like to highlighted is their check in time STRICTLY 3.00PM !!! I arrived at their hotel around 245pm and ask for early check in but they did not consider that which is a little bit why im not satisfied😌and consider this area at night time more yunniang/ahkua around😂be careful because they also staying at this hotel but no worries they did not disturb others (i think so) unless u really good looking men🤣ahh last but not least at Sunday they have flea market infront of the hotel and this hotel is walkable to Kinta Riverwalk where you should try Miker Pizza really goodddd !!!btw thank you for accomodate me might be coming back again !

GGuest Userthis is the second time i’m staying at this place. the first time was booked via agoda. the room is spacious and nice but floor is dusty. but that isn’t a big deal for me. what has really ruined my mood for the stay was the front desk guy. he is an indian man. he called me 3 times on the morning of my stay but i didn’t pick up because i was driving from KL. when i reach there around 2.30 pm after i had my lunch, i gave a call to the number in the front desk (which was his number who called me earlier) to ask if can check-in now or need to wait until 3pm. he said 3pm and i was okay since it’s just a few more minutes until 3pm anyway. no one was in the premise at that time which is why i call the number written on the whiteboard. during my check-in, he is complaining about why i didn’t pickup the call so he didn’t know what time i’m coming to check in. so unprofessional of him to say that the first thing to a guest. trying to blame me? well first, you’re calling in the morning of my trip and you can’t expect me to pickup the phone when i’m driving? you could have just leave a message on whatsapp if i didn’t pickup the call. everybody is using whatsapp nowadays so what’s so hard to reach me?
second, he asks for RM50 deposit but my mother didn’t hear at first so she asked what the RM50 is for and he said to buy KFC? repeatedly saying to buy KFC. is that suppose to be a joke? we all know he’s just trying to be sarcastic to my mother because that isn’t funny at all to us.
during my first time stay at this place on Dec 2023, Mr Poon whatsapp me A DAY before my trip to confirm my booking and my arrival time. it was pleasant and easy with Mr Poon which is why i choose this place again for my second trip but turns out, the front desk is a different person this time and he really ruined my mood during my stay there because of his unprofessional attitude.
