Hotel Grand Mark

Good afternoon We rested at the hotel from 04/25/23 - 04/30/23. The location of the hotel is very good, as it is located in the very center of Istanbul. Within walking distance of the main attractions, shops, exchange office, etc. The hotel has a panoramic terrace, where it is very pleasant to have breakfast or just admire the views. We had a small room (no view). The furniture and bathroom are decent. I will note poor sound insulation, but this is not a minus of the hotel, but a feature of the buildings located in this location. In general, this was not very annoying, since we did not sit in the room, but only came to spend the night. The room was cleaned every day, the hotel was clean and smelled nice. Breakfast is ordinary (eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, cheeses, bagels, cereals, tea, coffee, juices), but we were quite full. I would especially like to thank the receptionist for his attention, kindness and help. On the day of departure, the transfer did not come for us and he helped us resolve this issue. As an employee of a travel agency, I can confidently recommend this hotel for its location, cleanliness and hospitality. And whoever comes to find shortcomings will always find them.

The hotel is located in the center of Fatih/Sultanahmed. On a busy street with everything an ordinary tourist needs - bars, cafes, restaurants, shops, supermarkets. When leaving the hotel there is a pharmacy on the left and a hairdresser on the right. The main attractions (the Blue Mosque is closest) are a leisurely 10-15 minute walk. The hotel is not new, but in good condition! At the reception they speak Russian. ar is also located on the 1st floor (lobby). There is a restaurant on the 7th floor and the view of the city definitely gives this hotel an advantage! The view is simply gorgeous! It’s a pleasure to sit at breakfast and see the sunrise and the surroundings of Istanbul from above! ROOMS Normal. I had 503 (5th floor) everything was standard - cleaning every day, the bathroom was clean, the shower was right in the bathroom, above the toilet. In February it is cool (even cold) so there was heating. A window into the interior of the hotel with a view of the wall of other hotels - well, it’s not scary! When we moved in, there was no lighting on the wall above the bed - they screwed in the lamps on the second day - a small thing, but nice, they are improving the place. The rooms were also cleaned as standard! Thanks to the staff! BREAKFASTS Monotonous of course. Standard set: cucumbers, tomatoes, two cheeses, bread, butter, two types of jam, sausage (typical Turkish :)). Coffee and juice from the machine. Overall it was ok - I didn’t leave hungry, and at the same time it was quite filling! I work as a travel agent, I booked for myself - so I understood why and how much I was going to Istanbul! I booked 4 nights, single occupancy for 8,000 rubles (by the way, this is cheaper than on Booking). If you have any questions, ask!

Prima kamer, alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt. Onze kamer was prima schoon en had hele fijne bedden. Ontbijt wat aan de magere kant. Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel die 24 uur per dag voor je klaarstaan. Wij komen graag nog eens terug.
