"Very satisfied with this hotel. The service was excellent, and the receptionist from Bulgaria was exceptionally friendly and professional. Everything was handled very quickly, and they even allowed me to check in earlier than 2 PM, which I really appreciated. I was happy with the room, the internet, the location, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel. During my visits to Istanbul, I stayed in several 3-star and 4-star hotels in different parts of the city, and this hotel gave me the best overall impression."

"We were really lucky with this hotel. The location is excellent, right opposite the Galataport, so you're at the sea in 2 minutes. There's a shop directly across the street and a bus stop 5 minutes away. The Galata Tower and Istiklal Street are just a 10-minute walk. We arrived early, at 8 AM, and were at the hotel by 10 AM. They checked us in immediately to room 507 on the 5th floor. Everything in the room was clean, and most importantly, the window overlooked the mosque. With the windows closed, you couldn't hear anything at all; the soundproofing was excellent. We slept wonderfully. The beds were comfortable, and so were the pillows. And, importantly, there were two extra blankets in the closet. The bathroom and shower were perfectly clean, and towels were changed daily. The staff were friendly; when we checked out, they gave us a map and explained how to get to the airport. I definitely recommend this place. As for breakfast, the sea view is a definite bonus. It was the same every day, but everything was fresh and tasty. The selection wasn't huge, but we liked it, especially compared to having to search for breakfast every morning."

"Welcome to the most magical place in Istanbul! Classic building in classic location, you will feel like a character in an old movie. Ahmet and his staff do an amazing job running this hostel, with all the challenges of an old building, a pizzeria on the side, and many guests to accomodate. No matter if you are a curious tourist or a traveller in need, they will go out of their way to make you feel supported, secure and happy ...just like a family does :)   "
