Serenity Boutique Hotel Istanbul

I would like to share my impressions of my stay at the Serenity Hotel in Istanbul. I initially chose another hotel near the center in the Sultanahmet area. Upon arrival at the Istanbul airport, a representative of the host company, Fit holiday, decided to please me by saying that the hotel I had chosen could not accept me for some unknown reason. He offered me the Serenity Hotel and convinced me that it was even better than the one I had chosen. I had no choice, so I agreed after checking in and it was indeed not far from the center. I was also asked to sign a document that I had voluntarily agreed to change the hotel. When I was brought to the hotel from the outside, I realized that it was really a 4-story barn. And the same applies to the inside as well. I think the hotel was last renovated 40-50 years ago. They offered me a room on the first floor, but in reality it was not the first floor, but the basement. We checked in immediately and immediately after using the bathroom, water appeared on the floor, which did not go away, but kept coming. Even if you don’t use it. When I asked to resolve the issue, I was vaguely told that they might call a specialist. The specialist never came. The next day I asked to be moved to another room. But it turned out that the hotel was full. They moved me the next day. About the breakfasts. Terrible and poor. The only hot thing was tea. My recommendation is that no one choose this hotel. Unless, of course, you want to ruin your vacation.

A couple of days ago we returned from the hotel. The hotel in the Russian Federation is positioned as a 3*, but on the hotel's website, it is declared as a hotel without stars. But... The hotel is very good, clean, cozy. We had a room on the 3rd floor, room 304, we specifically asked for a higher room. Everything in the room is new, bed linen, mattresses, plumbing. Everything is clean. There is a TV in the room, one local channel works, just for background. There are batteries in the room, you control it yourself, by turning the tap. Upon check-in, there were towels in the room, three for each guest, slippers, soap, shampoo. The location of the hotel is very convenient. In the morning, breakfast is the same every day, but it was enough to have a snack and not go hungry. About the stairs... The stairs are ordinary, I did not notice anything steep, the light on the stairs is turned on by a motion lamp. The room is cleaned every day, good cleaning, they wash the floor under the bed. Summing up - I recommend the hotel!

Nothing to do with the presentation. Very expensive for the location and quality Breakfast very poor and the same every day. The location is bad. The photos are edited. You couldn't bring one person while you had a double room even on the day with a passport. You had to bribe. Seagulls all night made sleeping difficult. It was just clean

Hotel pulito, accogliente e con personale gentilissimo. Camere confortevoli, colazione varia e abbondante. Posizione un po’ decentrata per esplorare la città. Ci tornerei sicuramente! Non ho provato la zona benessere. Ma per il resto tutto ottimo
