We booked this hotel for a 4 night break, the reviews looked good enough and it seemed a great price in a good location. We never splurge on a city hotel as we are usually barely there but there are some things that you just expect to be a given. Starting with the positives, the staff here are welcoming and friendly, the hotel is situated in a very good location, with a beautiful view of the mosque and the shower was really powerful, unfortunately everything else was really dissapointing. The room itself didn't seem as though it had been cleaned, there was dust everywhere, bits on the floor, hair In the fridge and the curtains were yellow. We asked for our room to be cleaned once in 4 days, and all we got was new towels, nothing else was done. During our stay the WiFi cut out and there were plumbing issues, which whilst I know you can't help these things, it did affect our stay. The breakfast wasn't to our liking but it may just be personal preference, and the bed was way too soft which led to extremely sore backs. I know this hotel is a good price but cleanliness and a good nights sleep is a really key thing that should be a given, sadly it was not to a good standard. I appreciate the nice staff but the hotel could be so much better.

This hotel is incredible. Starting the staff is very helpful, careful and friendly, Cesar is great, they respond you so fast and Muhammed is the best friend you need in Turkey. The room is beautiful with a great view and the hotel is close everywhere, haya sofia, blue mosque and metro. Excellent shower , very clean! Breakfast fabulous, best price for what’s worth !

This tiny little hotel, right beside the obelisks and hippodrome has location as it’s main attraction. It’s certainly quaint with one room and attached bathroom on each floor accessed by a steep spiral staircase. There’s no lift and so may not be suitable for people with mobility or balance issues and it is not wheelchair accessible. It’s accessed off the hippodrome path through a small restaurant where breakfast is also served. There were a few glitches trying to get our room cleaned, fresh towels, and rubbish collected during the five nights we stayed. But otherwise the room was cosy in the cold December weather. The staff were relaxed and pleasant.

Это позволяет легко исследовать город пешком и наслаждаться его богатой историей и культурой. В целом, отель Optimist Hotel - это прекрасный выбор для тех, кто ищет уютный и гостеприимный отель в самом центре Стамбула. Его удобное расположение, вкусная кухня и теплое обслуживание сделают ваше пребывание в этом удивительном городе незабываемым.

Расположение выше всех похвал. Потрясающий вид из номера. Но важно иметь ввиду, что пение муэдзина по утрам очень хорошо слышно и может разбудить :) По сравнению с 2017 годом завтрак стал намного вкуснее, молодцы! Ну и особая благодарность владельцам отеля, которые всегда очень приветливы и помогают в решение вопросов. Наше проживание пришлось на период стамбульского марафона и подъезд к отелю был перекрыт. Хозяева договорились об очень комфортном трансфере до аэропорта по цене такси. К сожалению, расстроил некачественно подготовленный номер. После заселения я обнаружила грязную наволочку, использованное мыло, очень пыльный полотенцесушитель и огромный след от помета чайки на окне. Сообщили об этом хозяевам. К сожалению, после замечания, убрали не все. За невнимательность большой минус. При этом, когда мы приехали за пару часов до заселения, нам сказали, что номер будет готов только к 14.00. Но по ощущениям, в нем не убиралась очень давно. Улучшенный номер сильно потрепаный и нуждается в ремонте. Номер находится фактически на чердаке, продувается насквозь всеми ветрами. Летом это не критично, но в ноябре было ощутимо.

Я люблю этот отель и всегда останавливаюсь здесь. Это сердце Стамбула. Тут особая уютная атмосфера, вкусное питание и радушный хозяин. Все достопримечательности в шаговой доступности. Отличный WiFi. В номере есть кондиционер, холодильник, телевизор.

Fue la primera vez en Estambul y nos decantamos por este pequeño hotel con ubicación inmejorable y acertamos en todo, personal súper amable, atento y dispuesto a ayudar en todo, el desayuno estaba incluido, súper completo, café y zumo recién exprimido natural delante tuya, opción de naranja o de granadas, sin duda volveríamos.
