Popular Istanbul 4-star Hotels

Great location, excellent breakfast and amenities. I stayed six nights (between 22 and 28th Jan 2024 in Room 406), and Muracettin and the team, including Hilal, especially ever smiling, Gigdem ensured our day started well at the breakfast. Daily housekeeping was done to a good standard, thus returning to the hotel every day after busy exploration and shopping was always pleasant. Fatih and his colleagues, including Kamel at the reception, were readily available to provide assistance or any information required and were truly helpful. In terms of main attractions, say the very end of Sultanahmet, where the Blue mosque and the likes of Hagia Sophia is about 25 - 30 min walk. Notably, the hotel is so close to the main shopping district of the old city of Istanbul, including the vibrant grand bazaar and hundreds of wholesale and retail outlets. Hotel's restaurant provides handful choices, I tried the 3 course menu for 450 (Lira), which was quite reasonable. If I need to be so critical, I would urge the hotel to consider upgrading the bathroom outlook. Otherwise, everything in there is perfect and in full working order. The city view from my room, especially the minerat of Kamal Pasa mosque and the azan (call for prayers) for me was so heart touching and sentimental. For the first time in many years, I felt so emotional to leave this place, thanks for the team who showed so much of love and care. There is a health club within the hotel where all types of massages including hammam (payable) and sona (free), are available. I wouldn't choose anywhere else on my trips to Istanbul!

Overall it was not bad, the hotel is in a really good location, walking distance to everywhere, especially for those who want to have a city walk. I had early check in at 9am, which was really nice. The staffs were all nice. However, the room was so small with a pretty small window, I saw window in other rooms was not. And obviously, the soundproof not good, can hear what happen clearly on the outside aisle⋯

The experienced staff were both Friendly and helpful! As I was Traveling late night early morning, I called the hotel for some assistance with a taxi service. They front desk was happy to talk to the driver and even helped me confirm pricing. As a single woman traveling I am wanting to take precautions for my safety. The room was authentic and had a comfortable warmth! The rooms were clean with comfortable beds. The location is close to the touristy spots with easy access to public transportation! Travelers be prepared, so many things to see and do-be prepared. I enjoyed the exciting hustle and bustle and with help I found my way on the public ferry to check out the other side for a local experience. I truly enjoyed my stay, Thank you Empire Palace

Location is convenient. Value for money. Front Desk service is good. Ms Goler, the Reception officer is very kind & helpful.. We have a problem with the online booking for airport transfer at the last minute & she assisted us to call the vendor on behalf to check & solved our issue. 👍

Location: a bit far from the centre. You need to take taxi to go to the hotel, and also to go out from the hotel. Service: the food from the room service is very delicious and also affordable than most of the restaurants. You need to try it! It also has an indoor pool which is nice. The food for breakfast was decent like all other turkish hotels.

The hotel is in a very good location, right in the old city of Istanbul, next to the bus station and supermarket. It is very convenient to go to various attractions. It is just that you need to transfer to the subway, which may be troublesome if you have a suitcase

The hotel is great! We stayed there for 2 nights. Very polite staff, some speak Russian. The room is clean, the bed is comfortable, the breakfast is buffet style (there is a huge choice of dishes). There are many attractions, cafes, and the Grand Bazaar near the hotel. I recommend the hotel 100%

Great hotel with the sea view. Close to marmaray and 5 min walk away from new luxury compound where the nice restaurants are located along the cute streets. Suite room is my favorite one as it has quite big bathroom with shower and tub. Another great advantage are opening windows so you can have a fresh air breath from the sea. Restaurant is very comfortable and well designed. Meals taste great and fresh. Reception staff is not always useful but some of them are trying to be. Hotel has got the open air pool near the reception and has a common area with ibis hotel in case you need to switch to cheaper option during your stay. In general it deserves its stable 4 stars with plus.

Room size is great and the double beds are comfortable. Breakfast spread is great. However, didn’t get a good view from our room. Infact horrible view - facing another building. Location is great. Convenience store opposite, dining options and souvenir shops. Walking distance to Basilica Cistern, Hagia Sofia, Topkapi Palace and Blue Mosque.
