Unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience. The room had a smell that did not go away. A cockroach was running along the wall near the entrance to the shower and bathroom, which had to be killed (that's the one in the photo). I couldn't fall asleep for a long time at night because of the smell, got up with a flashlight to get a drink and found another cockroach near the mattresses. It's a disgusting feeling to sleep practically on the floor, and cockroaches are running around you. When we addressed this issue at the reception, we expected some adequate reaction in the form of an apology and moving to another room, or some kind of bonus to smooth over the impression. But from the reaction of the girl at the reception, it became clear that she was aware of the situation. She answered that something came down from the mountains, so the cockroaches ran to them. As if this is normal. Then there was a question about tea and water. I wanted to understand if there was a cooler somewhere on the floor, for example. Because there is a kettle in the room, but no water or tea. She didn't give any clear answers. Her colleague helped. In the end, during our absence, they brought ice water, but there were no tea bags anywhere. In our opinion, the dinner and breakfast at the hotel are not worth the money at all. It's good that we only stayed here for one night. I can't recommend this hotel.

We arrived at the hotel very late and were worried that there would be no dinner (Japanese people have an early dinner time), but the hotel staff immediately arranged for us to have dinner in the restaurant without making us wait too long. The dinner was very delicious, and we could have ice cream and coffee in the lobby after eating. The hotel staff was very welcoming and it was no problem to make an appointment for a private bath tomorrow morning. After dinner, we went to soak in their hot springs. There were basically no people in the women's bath and the outdoor area was also good. After soaking, there was a massage chair outside to sit on, so it was not boring to wait for your partner to finish soaking 😆

An old hot spring hotel with very considerate service. Kaiseki dinner and breakfast are eaten in the room, hot and cold water are prepared, the shuttle bus runs every 30 minutes, and the check-in is served by the waiter kneeling while sitting on the sofa. There are 2 pools for men and women in the hot spring, which rotate for half a day. There is one outdoor pool that feels the most beautiful, suitable for viewing red leaves in autumn. It is a 10-minute drive from Ito Station, halfway up the mountain. I also caught up with the saxophone performance on Friday night, which was very romantic.

Ladies can choose the color of their yukata and belt. The waitress at the hotel also helped me tie a bow belt. The food is exquisite and delicious. It is delivered to the room. The room is large and clean~ But I always feel that the kaiseki cuisine is not enough, so I just soak in instant noodles🍜 Bathing is basically reserved by one person. The men's and women's baths are exchanged every day. The open-air bath with a mountain view is very beautiful during the day~ The other open-air hot spring with a garden view is more suitable for soaking at night, with a full atmosphere
