We were visiting Jena for a sporting event and also wanted to travel to Leipzig so this hotel was ideal. For once Accors description was accurate, the venue is indeed in central Jena but was not at all noisy. Staff were very helpful and check-in was easy. We had not bought breakfast with our package and paid for it one morning, €17 was a bit expensive and in fact used other outlets for the rest of our stay. The room was typical Ibis fair, in fact one of the great advantages of using the brand as opposed to Styles label you know what you are getting.

I have around 80 to 100 hotel nights each year, worldwide. The IBIS Jena City Hotel met my requirements, it was clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was basic compared to higher priced hotels but there was enough choice of fresh food. This was the first hotel I can remember where I did not have to spend the first few minutes unplugging appliances or covering things up to make the room dark at night; even the TV had no standby light! Why do some hotels have a brightly lit alarm clock display by the bed, I just pull the plug, I have a mobile. Wi-Fi was also good and free. I don't need more in a hotel than this and the lack of annoying lights in the room was positively refreshing.

Der Empfang ear schon sehr unfreundlich und sehr wenig hilfsbereit, die Zimmer unglaublich einfach und geschmacklos eingerichtet. Eine Plastik Nasszelle, im Sinne des Wortes, als Badezimmer. Ich bin eiskalt von der Rezeptionistin belogen worden Das im Zimmer ausliegende Heft wirbt damit, dass es 24 Stunden lang warme und kalte Snacks gibt. Beim Lift werden die üblichen Paninis beworben. Aber mir wurde gesagt, nein, hier gäbe es nie Snacks und die Paninis wären für das Frühstück.

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen am Holzmarkt (Knotenpunkt von Tram und Bus), ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuss vom Westbahnhof und vom Paradiesbahnhof entfernt. Die Zimmer sind sauber und geräumig. Frühstück ist qualitativ gut. Das Ibis Jena ist auch passend, wenn man eine Woche Thüringen besuchen und eine Hotelwechsel verhindern will. Die Städte Weimar, Erfurt und Gera sind rasch erreichbar, so dass auch ein kurzer spontaner Abstecher möglich ist (Nach Eisenach zur Wartburg braucht es etwas länger, also einen Tagesausflug). Ich werde vermutlich bei meinem Aufenthalt in Thüringen wieder in diesem Hotel wohnen.

Das beste dieses Hotels ist erstmal die ideale Lage am Holzmarkt in Jena, von wo man alles sehenswerte, Geschäfte, Restaurants und Kneipen in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichen kann. Ansonsten hat man IBIS Standard. Die Zimmer sind sauber und ruhig. Zu bemängeln wäre die doch recht enge Garage und die Klimaanlage, die bei höheren Temperaturen überfordert ist.

Très bien situé à proximité de la gare et de plein de restaurants. L’accueil est pro, efficace mais manque un peu de sourire. Propreté impeccable, literie confortable, bonne isolation mais salle de bain façon anciens Ibis, comprendre l’ensemble monobloc tout intégré. Le petit déjeuner reste le point faible des Ibis. Il y a du choix, mais beaucoup trop de produits industriels. Gros point positif pour le bar ouvert h24 où nous avons pu discuter des aventures de notre journée avec une bonne bière avant d’aller nous coucher. Prix très raisonnable, donc au final un hôtel très recommandable.

O hotel é muito bom. Confortável, delicioso café da manhã, a melhor localização no centro de Jena. O ruim foi que o ar condicionado não estava funcionando. Algumas noites no verão de Jena são escaldantes. não havia geladeira também... se o quarto tivesse uma geladeira seria perfeito
