Wouldn’t recommend. Tiny rooms, filthy, cramped bathroom, old worn-out towels, no amenities or common area to sit, and no parking. Staff were often nowhere to be found, even during normal hours when the front door was unlocked. They were also indifferent and ignored complaints about ear-splitting music that made the walls vibrate from a hotel event until 11 PM. When I requested a refund, the hotel refused, and I had to fight through the booking agent multiple times just to get a partial one. Loud traffic noise in the mornings. Breakfast was underwhelming (dry eggs, stale bread). Beds were comfortable, but overall, still not worth the price.

I wanted to love this place The location is wonderful, but just about everything else was just awful. The “room” felt like I was in a convent - small, cramped, almost no storage space, rock-hard bed, and a tiny, not very clean bathroom with no amenities. Honestly, when I first saw the room, I was shocked. The breakfast was ok, nothing great. And staff rarely seemed to be around. There was no one at the desk when I arrived so I had to hang around - jet lagged and exhausted - to check in. My back ached the whole time I was there. Would not recommend.

The best feature of this hotel is its location just off the Hebron Road with bus stops close by. Opposite are a bank, a pharmacy, a supermarket and there are many great shops, restaurants and cafes a short walk away. Less than 15 minutes away is First Station. The breakfast is average. The bed was softer than I prefer. There are laundries very close to the hotel. There is no guaranteed parking though I always found parking though this may not be the case during normal times. The staff are helpful. The only down sides were the lack of reliable internet and the W/C which I considered to be cramped.

I lived in this neighborhood and always wanted to stay in this hotel. It’s adorable from the outside. Inside, not so much. The place was filthy and we ended up leaving early. A few examples. We came down for breakfast an hour before closing and most of the food was gone. There was a pan with what looked like a frittata but there was a black hair cooked into it. I pointed it out to the server who initially denied it until I physically pulled it out, at which point she quickly whisked it away. Although we were gone all day, our room was never cleaned. To top it all off, we returned in the evening wanting to shower and brown water came out of the sink and tub. Needless to say, at this point we packed up and left early. I will say they refunded our second night. But the owner was not apologetic.

The staff is just the most helpful. The person at the front desk spent so much time helping us get precise walking directions to the Israel museum , good places to eat, etc. The room is well appointed. The shower is the best, powerful rain shower lots of hot water. Bed is comfortable. Everything is very clean. Breakfast which is included is a bountiful feast including omelets, Israeli salads, vegetables, yogurt, breads, cereal, various coffees, tea, juices etc. There is a refreshment area open where you can always get hot/cold water and tea/coffee. A very comfortable inviting place, well recommended!

This is the fourth time I've stayed at the Little House in Baka. Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable and they do a terrific breakfast. The location is excellent. Close to transportation on Hebron Road and the Baka neighborhood has many good restaurants and little shops in easy walking distance. The staff is always helpful and even if not on-site will respond within an hour to a Whatsapp message if there's a problem. It has and will probably stay my go-to for visits to Jerusalem.

Delightful short stay. Not disappointed by anything. Room clean and comfortable for traveling alone. Heat worked well. Coffee and tea bar available anytime was wonderful and I enjoyed a tasty and healthy breakfast in both rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful. 1 to 2 minute walk from #74/75 bus stop. Pleasant 30 minute walk on less busy residential parallel street to the First Station. The Old City is a good stretch of the legs, but well worth it. Can't wait to stay here again.
