My comments as a foreigner staying there: the place is a good choice if you have a layover at Tianfu airport, getting there took about 15 minutes (19 yuan) by Didi from the airport, going back was free and efficient by their little shuttle bus. It saved me an hour going into Chengdu proper and the same time going back. The place is used to foreigners and check in was quick. The hotel itself is nothing special, but clean and quiet. There are plenty of food options in the little town and also some traditional massage places, which is pretty much all I wanted after a long flight. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Not that great. The hotel is close to the airport but that's the only draw that took us there. The room is big but dated and did not feel freshly clean. The receptionist was welcoming but gave us a different room from the one we had booked and constrained us to take the shuttle to the airport 4 hours before departure just because they had to fill the minivan at that specific time. There are plenty of hotel options in the area so I would look to stay somewhere else.

The room was good n had a double bed with my fren. Service from airport n to airport was fast 15mins. Bfast a lot of choice outside the hotel

10 minutes ride from Tianfu international airport. Contact hotel staffs via Wechat, then they will provide free shuttle service to pick up from the airport.

Really cheap place to stay! Staff was super nice and let me had super late check out. There are many places to eat around, super handy. 10min away from the airport

Hotel in a very good location. A lots of shops and restaurant around. Very impressive service. I arrived 1 and half hour before Check in time. They organized 2 rooms for us immediately without asking a question. Very clean. Friendly staff. Real value for money. However, you need to use translation app to communicate, as they don't speak English. Hotel sign got completely different name - "Panda Holiday Hotel", not Hawthorn Tree.
