7Days Inn (Chengdu Tianfu International Airport)

Hotel sent a Chinese message via trip.com a day before if I needed pick up service. Trip.com and google translation helped. Received wechat QR code from hotel right after and was set up a group chat with driver an hour before pick up. Waited 15 mins and journey took 15 mins to the hotel from Tianfu T2. Hotel is located at a village with many other accommodation and restaurants nearby. Hotel room is way better than expected. Clean and new furnishings. The walls are thin. I had a room on the 2nd floor and facing the main road. Could hear traffic and people talking on the street as well as along the corridor outside my room. Airport van pick up service is outsourced. Hourly schedule going to airport. Hotel reception called my room 30 mins before scheduled pick up. Van is shared with other lodgings. It was maxed out to sit 6 passengers each trip. Condition of van varies. The drivers were nice and helped with my luggage.

The location was good, a quick drive from Tianfu International Airport. A lot of restaurants and food right outside the hotel, but we didn't have time to try any. The airport pick-up and drop-off was arranged in a small van. It was cramped with people and very little space left for the luggage. There were cigarette smell coming out from the air-con, so we had to sleep with window opened instead, luckily weather that night was cooling. The room was a bit small. After putting down luggage, there was very small walking space, but we were there for just a night for layover. The shower was strong and hot, but the drain can clog up easily.

Comfortable Room & Helpful Staff, But Shuttle Service Needs Improvement We stayed one night at 7Days Inn (Chengdu Tianfu International Airport) for a quick transit, and it mostly served its purpose. What we liked: The shower had strong water pressure, and the bed and pillows were quite comfortable for a budget hotel. Though the room was compact, it had all the basic amenities we needed and was clean enough. Check-in was smooth, even though we arrived after midnight. There were plenty of food stalls nearby, which was great for a late bite. The staff during the day was especially helpful, even assisting us with ride-hailing apps, which we really appreciated. The hotel provides a shuttle service from the airport, which is a convenient option. What could be improved: Soundproofing inside the room was poor, and we could hear noise from the hallway and outside. The shuttle van was small, cramped, and had no dedicated space for luggage. There was no air-conditioning in the shuttle, so we had to keep the windows open. The driver also made stops at other hotels, which made the ride longer and more tiring. Lastly, the hotel’s distance from the airport felt farther than advertised, so late-night arrivals may want to consider alternatives nearby. Overall, it's a reasonable place for a short layover with good value, as long as you're okay with a few compromises on transport comfort and noise.

Good hotel for when you need to stay close to the airport! The room is big and modern, th beds are comfortable and the service is good! Very easy to fix airport transfer which is convenient. Enough places to eat in the area or shops if you want to buy something! I can recommend.

15 mins drive from the airport. From what i understood, they offer airport drop-off every hour. The hotel staff somehow misunderstood my requested time so they called me much earlier than needed to wake me up and then again to remind me the car is waiting. So my sleep was disturbed. I am sure it was an honest mistake. The room was ok

Even though we spend less time in the hotel but we find is in a good location with food. If i needs to near the airport will definately be back.
