During this trip to Jiaxing, we stayed at Jiaxing Nanhu Hotel, which gave us an unexpected surprise. The hotel is located on the edge of Nanhu Lake. The overall design is a garden style. The designer cleverly borrowed the scenery of Nanhu Lake and integrated it with the garden scenery in the hotel. The design inside the hotel is a new Chinese style. The design does not copy the Chinese classical style, but integrates Chinese elements into the modern style. It looks very modern, but it also feels the presence of Chinese style. It is quite well done. Especially in the details, such as the carved board on the background wall, the silk-screen painting on the glass of the guest room partition, and the style and workmanship of various furniture in the guest room, they all show ingenuity and exquisiteness. All the staff of the hotel are warm and polite, answering all questions and thinking about the guests everywhere. While waiting for check-in, they will take the initiative to help you store your luggage and invite you to sit in the rest area; when you go out, the concierge will introduce you to the tourist attractions and routes of Jiaxing; when you go to the restaurant, the staff will introduce you to the characteristics of the dishes and the waiting situation, and will also introduce nearby gourmet restaurants upon your request; the room attendant will take the initiative to open the bed and send a fruit plate. This time I stayed here and experienced really good hotel service.

Even on the weekend after the May Day holiday, Nanhu Hotel was fully booked. Traveling with the elderly, we booked a twin room and a double room. In other five-star hotels, when there are many guests on holidays and weekends, what I hate most is the breakfast, which is a mess everywhere... 👍👍Even though there were many people at the breakfast in Nanhu Hotel, there were special waiters who kept asking if we wanted coffee or black tea.
