It's close to the station and the breakfast was delicious.
The room was clean and had all the basic amenities.

I also posted this on the reservation site I used, but as you can see in the attached image, the rooms were very old and had no soundproofing or insulation. The windows were poorly fitted, and the customers at the izakaya and convenience store next to the hotel were so loud I couldn't fall asleep until late at night. Lack of sleep on a short trip is tough. I wish they would at least improve by installing blackout and soundproof curtains. The hotel was located a 5-6 minute walk from the station. There were manga in the hallway, which I could read in my room.

It was close to Kagoshima Chuo Station and easy to find because it was right on the road. It wasn't that noisy even though it was on the road. The facilities were old, so the room smelled a bit musty. The breakfast place is not a private restaurant, but a Japanese bar (izakaya?) run by the hotel, and the menu provided was not buffet style, but a very simple set meal. The staff were friendly, and they also provided luggage storage service after check-out. One thing that was a little disappointing was that there was no English sign of the hotel name on the outside of the building to make it easier for foreigners who don't know Japanese to find it.
