Amazing value for money. Approx 10min transfer time from airport. Staff friendly and efficient throughout. Check in was instant, he knew who we were without giving our names and offered us some food as we arrived late in the evening. Rooms- modern altho quite narrow, large powerful shower. Main bed was comfy but pull out bed for the kids quite hard. Pillows lovely on all beds and great air con. Free safe in room and fridge stocked with beer and soft drinks which were replenished daily. Complimentary bottle of wine and ouzo in the room too. Balcony a bit small and only 2 chairs for the 4 of us, but we didn’t use as went cooler in the evenings as we visited end of October. Pool towels free to use and changed throughout the week when you wanted them. Food-typical all inclusive buffet. Fresh salads, bread and fruit at every meal were lovely. Plenty of nice pasta dishes and small kids station each night. Pancakes, eggs and omelettes cooked fresh each morning and always a freshly cooked meat/pasta dish being served as well as the stuff to help yourselves to. Drinks machines with juices, soft drinks, water, wine and beer to help yourself to. Never a problem getting a table whatever time we visited. Snack bar during the day served lots of lovely salads, breads, freshly cooked bbq food and snacky stuff like hot dogs, burgers gyros etc. scooped ice cream you could help yourself to in cones all day long and lady making crepes by the pool from 10.30-6 was amazing. Crisps and nuts were available to help yourself from later on in the snack bar. Pools were lovely but quite fresh at this time of year! Fine for swimming in tho. Couple of small water slides designed more for little kids. Plenty of sun beds to be had at whatever time of day and free pump for blowing up inflatables. Daily water aerobics and sometimes water polo. Beach was lovely, again never a problem getting sun loungers and pool bar close enough to get drinks. Be warned cups are very small and too aren’t allowed to fill your own bottles, so you end up making a lot of trips. Still water isn’t available by the pool bar, so you have to go back inside for that which is a pain. Wooden paths take you within a few metres of the sea, so you can access with wheelchairs/pushchairs. Lifts in the hotel were ok and there was a wheelchair accessible route to the pool/beach. You could also access the snack bar from within the hotel avoiding the steps by the pool. Disabled toilet by the main pool too, but would say rooms too narrow to turn round in a wheelchair in. Other entertainment-daily yoga, bowls and beach volley ball and sometimes ping pong and darts tournament’s. You can hire ping pong stuff for free along with the small crazy golf course from reception.Pool , air hockey and table football by the snack bar were all 1 euro a go. Didn’t really hear much of the evening entertainment, but sounded like the odd singer. Check out was great, allowed to keep our room till 5pm if needed free of

Absolutely amazing. Hygiene, cleanliness, rooms, views, free sunbeds on private beach, beautiful sand (just 1 metre of shingle at edge but no problem walking on it), sea calm, water sports available, food is gorgeous and something for everyones' taste. Food available all day long! Restaurant manager greets you - waiters are exceptional. Cocktails made perfectly. ALL staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Pools are great as is the animation team. We are English but had no problems being able to join in. English is spoken. Only negative (but not about the hotel) is the guests are predominantly German/Austrian which was not an issue for us other than our five year old, although able to play chase etc found it hard to make friends as we were the only English family there. It is a five/ten minute walk to big shopping outlet (right out of hotel) to the left is 15/20 minute walk into Falaraki (famous *****). A very enjoyable evening out. There is also a tourist train and of course buses/taxis. Highly recommend this hotel and area and will come back.

Great hotel but the highlight was the amazing Aegeo Spa! Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful team with very reasonable prices. I had a fantastic treatment with Svetlana / one of the best treatments I have ever had! Highly recommend Svetlana and a visit to the Spa if you’re staying at Calypso.

We visited in July 2024 as a family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 teens. booked through TUI from the UK. Hotel is beautiful and well manicured! There are a few cats around which are friendly little birdies flying in the trees. POOLS - Pools are lovely and clean (grass and sand everywhere but they managed to keep the pool lovely) 1 x water slide very fun to go down. Some areas in shade to keep out of the sun. Loungers wasn't an issue, we only got down to the pool around 9:30am and still managed to get 4 loungers together. if you want loungers at the front of the pool be up by 7am. Hotel leads right onto the beach with plenty of free loungers there too. Pool towels provided in rooms on arrival. Music needed around the pool!! When the activities were on and music was playing it was really upbeat and showed how much it's needed generally. Gorgeous sun rises on the beach if you fancy getting up early enough. STAFF - All staff were very friendly and helpful. 1 waitress (i think her name was Valia, remembered i like a glass of milk at tea time and had it ready every evening). Pool side bar staff have good sense of humor and very chatty. I didn't feel they favored German customers over us at all as other reviews suggest. I think we was the only English customers there although most could speak a little English so this was never a problem. ROOMS - We had 2 rooms, 1 aircon wasn't working properly so we was put in a different room for a night while it was fixed. No issues though. Nice rooms, pool view was lovely. Road view not so good. Beds were comfy and pillows were fluffy. ONLY down side was the shower, now I'm a UK size 14/16 and my partner is tall and an XL - when i say we couldn't fit in the shower - i mean we literally couldn't fit! You couldn't turn, bend or even close the doors, i burnt myself multiple times on the taps as it was that squashy, i ended up showering in the teens room (shower over bath) which wasn't ideal as it was down the corridor. Safe box was free to use and drinks in room provided. Housekeeping came every morning and made bed etc. FOOD - Now i'm not picky at all and i loved all the food, plenty of choice, fresh food, some themed nights. But my partner would disagree, he wasn't keen (but then he never is on all inclusive holidays). Outdoor BBQ during the day was lovely. Didn't try the AL La Carte so can't comment on that. Ice creams available all day. Crepes available pool side 10:30 -6pm. Staff very quick to empty tables, collect dirty plates etc. If out early the kitchen will make you some food to take with you. We arrived very late and they offered to make us some food which was nice but we wasn't hungry. Coffee could be better but wasn't the worst I'd had. ENTERTAINMENT - We only stayed at the hotel a few nights for the entertainment but it was okay, there was some singers, dancers etc. Lots of seating. Day time activities was good, water polo. darts, volleyball, aqua gym, yoga. Very inclusive and friendly staff. AREA

When booking I really should learn from previous and read the reviews before booking, as yes I booked again before checking the reviews! How ever I have no complaints about this hotel at all. Transfer time from the airport around an hour. We arrived at stupid o clock in the morning and the gent on reception was most welcoming taking the time to speak to both my sons about the football shirts they had one. We were offered tea and cake but ultimately just wanted to lay down. Room was as expected and well equipped, cleaned daily although the times varied. The bed was actually so amazing and the pillows were so nice I wanted to take them home with me! On the first morning we introduced ourselves to the restaurant manager as our son is celiac he then met us every meal time to run through what he could eat at that meal and if there was nothing he would get chef to prepare a sirloin steak for him. On Italian night they went to the supermarket and brought him a huge gluten free pizza. Needless to say he didn't go hungry. Pool was good, sun bed were plentiful and the private access beach with the use of paddle boards and pedalos kept the kids entertained. A short walk from the hotel was a little shopping centre with a well stocked supermarket and loads of gift shops, there's also a little road train that will take onto Rhodes town one way or faliraki the other. All in all excellent hotel with friendly staff and clean rooms

We are locals in rhodes and never had the chance to enjoy this hotel until now especially after the season we had and fires on the island … well all I can say is wow !!! We don’t usually book in an all inclusive hotel and also as living here don’t see the need to but through many recommendations and also a very busy season we thought why not … as everyone has mentioned before it is simply fabulous! receptionists were friendly and helpful on arrival. The bartenders were totally awesome including Stavros, Dori and Panos always welcoming us with a lovely smile 😊, helpful, & keeping a lovely vibe @ the night main bar till 2 am ! The boys at the pool bar , Pantelis, George & Takis always there in the morning greeting you with happiness, big smiles Greek music 🎵 to enjoy the start to your day ! Pity they not closer to the beach 🏖️ loved their baileys coffee ☕️! Nikos for the restaurant to welcomeUs for breakfast making that even more enjoyable & his team ! The beach is lovely with beautiful sand and the food was sooooo delicious throughout! definitely a very recommended hotel which offers not only facilities and good food but meeting new friends , great vibes , smiles & more to make your stay extra enjoyable and not want to leave … we booked 3 x in a week Ha ha Definitely a must when in Rhodes ! You won’t be disappointed ! See you soon Calypso team x
