"it's renovating an old private house
The bath, washroom, and communal kitchen are modern and simple and fashionable. The security was also solid, and I was able to stay with peace of mind.
There is also Nishi Chaya Street nearby, and I enjoyed the atmosphere in the morning and evening. It is a place I want to stay again"
"New fantastic hotel! It's a hotel but has a very nice muji-esque feel. It's very clean and has a nice public bath area. Check in was easy especially with the help of the staff who are proficient in English. Also, there was a welcome snack that went very well with the nice tea provided in the room.
Breakfast was excellent. Based on reviews, I thought it would be the same for two days (which I had problem with) but both days had different breakfast and they were scrumptious. If I'm in Kanazawa again, I won't hesitate to rebook."

"The hotel is located at the east exit of Kanazawa JR Station, with extremely convenient transportation. It is very convenient to go to Kenrokuen Garden, Higashi Chaya Street and other attractions. The Omicho Seafood Market is within walking distance. I will choose this hotel again when I come to Kanazawa in the future."
"After doing a bit of research for this part of my family's trip to Japan over Christmas, Kanazawa was high on our list (now Top 25 places to go this year according to National Geographic!). So glad we stayed there.
Look no further than a walk outside of Kanazawa Station (buses and trains easily accessible) and go to Hyatt Centric. Amazing location in terms of accessibility (the city itself is quite walkable or you can do the loop buses from there).
The amenities and room were top notch. Staff were amazing everywhere, their take on breakfast was also done well with a mix of local Kanazawan cuisine, Japanese dishes, and Western dishes.
Rooftop Bar was also nice.
Rooms were also very affordable compared to other cities in Japan for what some might consider a higher quality.
Already planning our next family trip and plan to go here again."
"Conveniently located across Kanazawa station, the hotel is easily accessible. Glad to see the mountain view from my hotel room. The breakfast spread is fantastic! As my stay was during the colder month of December, consistent hot water at the turn of the tap without any wait is really good!
My only complain is that the central aircon system is not pushing out enough air, even at highest speed, making the night feel stuffy."
"The counter staff is kind and patient. The place to eat on the first floor is not very good. It may be necessary to prepare for early dining. There is a lunch box for the tenant to take out and breakfast is appetizing. The bathroom is small but acceptable. If you can install a handrail next to the bathtub, it will be safer for older people."

Amazing
HHah MarvinThe positive reviews are real! We're very glad to have stayed here and would recommend this hotel without hesitation.
First off, the buffett breakfast is amazing: it offers local Kanazawan fare to standard Japanese favourites like tempura, sushi and sashimi to ubiquitous American breakfast offerings like sausages, bacon and a wide choice of eggs. Fancy sparkling wine for breakfast? They're available as well!
Secondly, great location. 3 mins walk to Omichi market, 10 mins to Kanazawa castle, 10 mins to Higashi Chaya, 20 mins to Nagamachi District. Honestly, Kanazawa is such a walkable town, you are always able to walk from one attraction to the next. The hotel also provides a shuttle bus from mid-morning to late afternoon that runs to Kanazawa station and back.
Rooms are well-appointed, large by Japanese standards and there's even a bathtub. Two thumbs up!
Ffyi guyClean and thoughtful set up. Well equipped kitchenette. With brand new dish sponge and kitchen towel ( items often overlooked at other service apartment hotels).
Spacious lounge area that had free flow beverages in the evening during our stay. Competent breakfast but lack variety as there was no change in menu during our 3 days stay.
You can access the restaurants in the same building via the escalator in the shared outdoor area next to the restaurant. Location is superb as it’s a short mostly sheltered walk to Kanazawa station
TTsubaki UmisachiThe hotel is way too amazing. There are various amenities for free, like coffee machines on the 1st floor, and welcome drinks for free on the 2nd floor. Also, the bathroom is a lot more surprising with a large bath tub and a multifunctional spray. I would def choose this hotel again if visiting Kanazawa in the future.
EElisia LohHotel is conveniently located on the east gate of Kanazawa station, with nearby shopping malls (opp Forus shopping mall), and lots of restaurants.
Hotel is more like business hotel setup, furnishes is dated but clean. The only downside which we don’t like is the bedside lamp is fixed very near to the bed, am very afraid will bang onto them when sleeping too near.
Kanazawa is very tourist oriented, there is a tourist loop bus which you can purchase for the day which is about 800yen per adult unlimited rides on this loop bus (otherwise per trip is about 210 yen), you can purchase the ticket from the East gate bus information counter, and bus boarding at bay no 7. This tourist loop bus passes the tourist spots like the Chaya district, Kanazawa Castle Park / Kenrokuen (same bus stop), Omicho market (which is about 15 min walk from Kanazawa station).
JJustNice and cozy hotel in the heart of Kanazawa!
It’s located near the market and some eateries.
You’ll get to have noodles for supper, relax in a good bath in the open air and cool down with ice cream when you are back in the hotel.
GGuest UserIt has been an amazing stay for us. Location is close to the main station (less than 5 minutes walk). Room was clean and just enough size for us (2 adults and a toddler). Our room comes with breakfast buffet. The buffet spread is amazing. Lots of options to choose from. Will definitely stay with them again!
GGuest UserI booked for 2adults and 1 child, Normally every hotel will prepare bath towel or can be requested for the child use but this staff talk aggressively that I have to pay for renting additional towel set for my kid because kid has stayed for free. My point is that the hotel has to inform the customers before they has started booking or charge for child stay liked other hotel. If the hotel recognized that customers has booked for 3 people, they has to prepare 3 sets of towels. The kids cannot take a bath without a towel. That is a pity thing that the hotel should not do and take action to the customer.
GGuest UserThe hotel is located around 10pm walk from Kanazawa station. There are a series of stores and landmarks located along the road walking there. One convenience store right next to the corner. And about 15 min walk to Kanazawa castle and Kenroku Park. The room and the bath is clean. Customers will need to scan with their cards to get access to their floor. Security is good.
Kkan-chanI stayed here for several nights. It was a bit of a walk from the Katamachi bus stop, but it wasn't too bad. The room was quite spacious for the price, but there was only a shower and no bathtub, which was unavoidable, but I was satisfied. The large public bath was also on the second floor. I didn't use it this time, but they listened to my request, so I would like to use this hotel again.
MMagnus TanThe dorm was quite tricky to find on the sidewalk, walking from JR Kanazawa station, the sign was on a wall behind me, in the walkway leading into the building it was. One should look out to the left once you’ve reached the building.
There were no staff when I checked in late at night around 10pm, but I received an email beforehand detailing the guest forms I should fill up and some other information. Once I arrived, there were other clear instructions about my bunk, luggage storage and house rules. The entry area had several books and leaflets about the area and a map indicating eateries and sightseeing locations recommended by staff, a useful touch. Some of it were in English too.
The bunk was perfectly acceptable for a quick night sleep. The bed was wide and had lockable lockers to the side. Refreshments like drinks, snacks and noodles were also available for a small fee and payment was done via a tin box. Overall, very good value for money and it provided an opportunity to chat with other travellers staying by there. I chatted with someone from Taiwan and a local working at Kanazawa station’s tourist information centre. He was snowed in for the night and it’s worth noting that, it would be a struggle to haul luggage through heavy snow on the way to the property.
The average price for hotels in Kanazawa is 335 AZN on weekdays, and 401 AZN on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
