Unrestrained Youth Hostel

We arrived in Kangding at night and stayed here for one night. The boss was not there the whole time and only sent the code for the door lock. Both of my friends said they slept very comfortably, but I felt the mattress was too thin and woke up many times during the night with numb arms. The room is clean and the bathroom is average. In addition, the parking fee nearby is very high. It costs thirty dollars to stay overnight. I hope to stay in Kangding for a few more days next time.

I came to this youth hostel three times during my three visits to Kangding. In terms of hardware facilities, the rooms are air-conditioned and each person has an independent locked locker. The light on each bed is warm and cozy, the shelves are spacious and can hold a lot of things, the curtains have strong light-blocking properties and provide enough personal space, and the washbasin and toilet outside are also fully equipped with daily necessities, even small items such as Band-Aids and cotton swabs. In terms of a sense of belonging, the boss and the tenants are all very friendly and the atmosphere is great whether they are sitting around the table playing chess, mahjong, or landlords, or listening to music while roasting fire and corn and talking about everything. The more times I come here, the more I feel that this is not just a temporary place to stay, but a humane home that I can return to anytime when I come to Kangding and have nowhere else to go.

Stayed here for 5 days in a row, visited all the surrounding areas, and will stay here again when I come to Kangding.
