"This is a standard Ibis hotel. Good location, about 15 minutes walk from the centre of Kanding. Located very close to ancient Buddhist temples which are definitely worth of attending . Very authentic area. A number of shops and restaurants around. The room was clean and quite cozy. Breakfast is very simple. The meals are served on the first floor, near the reception and the entrance. And that’s quite weird because food becomes cold very quickly, just while you start eating 😀 Nevertheless this hotel is a nice budget option. I was living there for 2 days after trekking in the mountains. And that was a good rest. I can recommend this place"

"This hotel is located in Baitukan, the hillside neighbourhood above the urban centre of Kangding and a great option if you are looking for small boutique-type accommodation in a quieter part of town with good views. You do need a bit of stamina to hike down and especially up the hill but it is good exercise with lovely views and otherwise a short taxi drive from town. Very clean and comfortable with all the amenities for a great stay. The hotel is run by a friendly couple and customer service is good. I stayed here in the low season and breakfast was limited to a Chinese option."

"We stayed at Intercity for our second night and regretted not choosing it for our first! First off, the decor is an Italian light luxury style, and the room was very clean and comfortably sized. The location is super convenient for getting around, especially since I was with my baby and a stroller – no hills to climb, and it's just steps away from the main square. Plus, the lady at the front desk was incredibly nice and gave my baby lots of little gifts. For a place like Kangding, which is notorious for traffic and difficult parking, the hotel's underground parking was also very convenient. All in all, it was a highly satisfying stay! If you're coming to Kangding, don't bother with guesthouses, just book this hotel! We'll definitely choose Intercity again next time! It would be even better if they offered baby bed rails!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel in Kangding; with it's warm family atmosphere. The rooms are very clean, with comfortable beds and great views and the roof top balcony (and cafe) is a lovely place to hangout. Excellent breakfasts too, with lots of variety and great coffee. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming and went out of their way to help us. Thank you so much for the stay, it was one of the highlights of our trip !! Thoroughly recommended !"

"A brand new guesthouse located by the national highway. Cleanliness: The rooms and reception area were very clean and tidy. The entire hotel is very new, and being on the first floor, there's no need to carry luggage up and down stairs. Room size: The room is about the same size as a business double room in a chain hotel, more than enough. Parking: Parking is very convenient; there are ample parking spaces in the external parking lot, and the hotel also has its own parking lot."

"Self-driving to Kangding to choose this is too wise, very close to the major attractions in the city, go to Jiagenba, Xindu Bridge to set off super smooth, the hotel free parking does not have to worry. "Pros: This hotel opened this year and is a well-known mid-range chain. All amenities are standard, the rooms have diffused oxygen, and the breakfast is pretty good for western Sichuan. Thanks to the handsome receptionist for bringing breakfast to the kids... Complaints: After eating hot pot that night, it was incredibly hot walking back to the hotel room, and the air conditioner wouldn't cool down. I called the front desk, but the response was prompt, but the receptionist couldn't help. We changed rooms, but still no cooling, and there was no fan... As a result, my family was kept awake the first half of the night by the heat, and only slept a few hours when the temperature cooled down in the second half. The next day, we were completely sleepy after a seven-hour drive."
