Kaohsiung Lingya District Hotels

My good friend came to Kaohsiung from Taipei. I booked him a hotel near my home (Kangqiao Hotel) near Guangrong Pier. Buffet breakfast is provided from 7 to 10 am. Dinner is also provided from 7 to 9 pm. Both are included in the room rate. It is really affordable. There is a wide variety of food. It is delicious. There is also a 24-hour self-service cafe on the first floor. There are tea, coffee, and Du Laoye ice cream. It is very good for business negotiations, travel and self-residence. The room is large and the bed is very comfortable. The Kaohsiung Light Rail is a 3-minute walk away. It is very convenient.

The location of Han Hsien is very convenient. It’s only twenty minutes from the airport. There are coffee shops, bakeries, and markets, fruit stalls and flower shops in the neighbourhood. The Birthday Park is just around the corner. There is a pool, a spa and a Cantonese dim sum restaurant in the hotel which are all of good standard. The hotel is not new but it is well-maintained.

This hotel is very good, convenient to travel, good service staff, quiet hotel, can sleep and rest, there is a lobby for eating, there is hot water and drinking water can be refilled, tea, coffee is available, there is a steam iron. Value for money and very convenient, walk out of MRT Sandou shopping district station exit 1, not far, very convenient to walk, there is also a bus stop nearby, very convenient to travel, walk a little bit more, you will see Light rail station: Kaohsiung Exhibition Center, can use the service to go to Pier 2 art center, and get off at Hamasen station to cross to Cijin Island. Nearby, there are lots of restaurants, 7-11 and Family Mart.

This hotel is simple and located on the 11th floor of a building that is shared with 5 other ”hotels” on other floors, but I loved the beautifully immaculate and modern rooms. For its price (~$60/nt), the room (I sprang for the Exquisite room) is spacious, well-designed with plenty of natural lighting from a corner unit facing the funky, cool shaped Kaohsiung Port Cruise Terminal and I LOVE the restroom with a washlet!! and stone shower tiles, equipped with a 55” Google TV and preloaded movies / casting capabilities and general TV that made for great entertainment. The location is stellar (only a 3 mins walk from the R8 station ~ take exit 1... don't listen to Google Maps' instruction 😅) and it is hard to go wrong with the included hot breakfast + 24h snax in the lobby with the wonderful service from the entire staff as a cherry on top. It made working from this hotel for the past five days so delightful. and businesses so the elevator is almost always in use, though there are 5 lifts that move quickly. The only (and very minor; read: nit-picky) downside is that the building houses 5 ”hotels” on other floors and businesses so the elevator is almost always in use, though with the 5 lifts that move quickly, I haven't had to wait longer than 2-3 minutes to get into the next available elevator. Already looking into the Hub Hotels in Taipei when I return next year!

Good Location near the port and walking distance to public transport. Hotel clean and staff very helpful .

We stayed here for four nights during the Chinese New Year. Thank you to the cleaning staff who always took advantage of our absence to come in and clean so that we had a clean space every day. In addition, I had a very filling dinner every day. Although there were not many varieties, they were all very thoughtful. Thank you to the hard-working hotel staff.

Sometimes on lees hotel has event then it is hard to get the 2 twin beds room, and we have to booked the 2 queen beds room which need to book 4 breakfasts

This hotel is very conveniently located, close to the MRT station. There is also parking in the basement. The cost is 3509 yuan excluding breakfast. Bright lighting during the day, But the lighting is really poor at night. We are all big guys in my family. The bed in the standard room is too small for me. It's not easy to sleep. I learned a lot this time. It's important to increase the size of the room. If I consider visiting Kaohsiung again in the future, I will definitely choose a king-size bed.

It is about 10 minutes away from the MRT station in Sanduo Shopping District. The smallest room type is a double bed. There is enough space for a single person. The room is well-lit and clean. The elevator to the upper floor requires key card authentication to open the door, which is highly secure.

I think the bed may need to be tidier. When I lie on the bed, the surface of the bed that touches my body makes my skin itchy. It may be due to moisture or other reasons, but it is completely fine when I leave the bed. There is also the issue of bath water. Because the storage water heater has a limit, it will turn into cold water, which is not something I am used to.
