Check-in (5/5) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The staff was friendly and helpful. Despite the language barrier, the staff has a translator machine on the desk which helps themselves to translate what they want to say and what you want to say. This can be easily done by talking to the translator machine. The girl was polite in handling our check-in. Cleanliness (5/5)⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The rooms we stayed are clean and cleaned by cleaning staff. The floor condition is very good and clean. Normally in some hotels, the floor isn’t cleaned daily, and slippers are provided. Smoke free 🚭 (3.5/5) ⭐️⭐️ Not a major issue, but can be an issue if there are guests who may be smoking in the vicinity. So it is not entirely smoke free, but it’s little to no smoking in the area. Noise-level ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The sound proofing is excellent, no issue in wall isolation. Location ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The location is great for elderly that are poor in directions and people who are visiting here for first time or more. It is close to East Nanjing Road which is the long street of shopping and tourist stores. Check-out ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Quick and simple. Xiao Chen helped with the check-out. Apparently Xiao Chen also assisted my mother in providing tourist metro pamphlet which helps elderly people know the metro/subway. This is handy because a lot of elderly people are not very tech-savvy in tech or different apps which they have to download for first time. Improvements There were a few issues on maintenance where it is mainly related to water issue, plumbing/drainage and walls contracting that some doors in the building not being able to close properly. Not a major issue but something to consider.

Facilities: They have a robot delivering food, offer free laundry service, and there's coffee available at the front desk. Cleanliness: Relatively clean and hygienic. Environment: The environment is great. Service: The front desk staff are genuinely friendly, truly, truly wonderful.

The room is very spacious. The location is right on Nanjing Road, making it super easy to find places to eat, shop, or buy souvenirs. The breakfast was decent with a good variety of options.

On a weekend trip with friends, we spent half a day sifting through options and finally settled on this hotel. It definitely lived up to our expectations! First, the location is super convenient, right in the city center with excellent transport links and amenities nearby. If you want to check out Wei Xiang Zhai, featured by Zendaya, it's just a hundred meters away. Second, both the hotel service and cleanliness are pretty good. The room comes with an air purifier, and the size is decent. The lobby is very spacious and always bustling with travelers. Third, the hotel's design is quite distinctive and aesthetically pleasing. Finally, I didn't get a chance to try the breakfast, but I'd definitely consider staying here again if I'm in the area next time! 👍🏻

The hotel is in a great location with access to shops and food. It is minutes walk away from The People’s Square with easy access to the metro. I love the artwork in the hallways. We booked a double with no windows. If you plan on staying out late, that’s actually great for sleeping in. There is an amazing hole in the wall restaurant with Shanghai staples next door as well as a Family Mart.

The room was very spacious with modern decor, which my child loved. The bed was large enough for an adult and a child to sleep comfortably. The location is superb, close to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street and The Bund, with plenty of snack shops downstairs! Most importantly, there's a laundry room, which was convenient for our multi-day trip! The night view from the window was also amazing 👍🏻

I randomly picked this hotel for a business trip, and it completely exceeded my expectations – a pleasant surprise! The location is incredibly convenient, and the service quality of this long-standing hotel is truly exceptional. Many of the staff members are locals from Shanghai, and they are all incredibly friendly and approachable. You can always see many international guests around the hotel, which clearly indicates that it's consistently busy. The overall experience was fantastic, and I highly recommend it!

We took our elderly relatives, all over 80 years old, on a trip to Shanghai. The location was excellent; it was about a 5-minute taxi ride to the Bund, and a short walk away. There were also many restaurants downstairs. The hotel was newly opened and very comfortable. The receptionist was very helpful and attentive to us, who were traveling with an elderly person. We were upgraded to a larger room. Absolutely fantastic!

Atour exceeded my expectations, I was amazed by their excellent service. I was greeted with a cup of tea by one of the staff the moment I stepped into the hotel. The staff also went the extra mile to get my clothes back when the clothes were mixed up. The friendly staff would also deliver the laundry to our room. My friend and I greatly recommend Atour hotel. The room I booked came with free buffet breakfast as well! I really enjoyed the yogurt and fruits. Guests are also allowed to order different types of noodles on the spot at the noodle station. Thank you for making the stay such a pleasant one.

I had a very pleasant stay at Rezen Meta Tree Hotel. The location is excellent, right next to the pedestrian road, making it very convenient for exploring the city, shopping, and dining. The room was excellent—comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The breakfast was also very good, with a nice selection of food. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout my stay. The hotel also has a fitness room and two washing machines with drying functions, which are very useful facilities for travelers. The laundry facilities are available 24 hours a day. However, the machines are quite popular, and it can sometimes be difficult to find one available, as they are often already in use. Overall, I had an excellent experience and would gladly stay here again. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially because of its great location, comfortable rooms, good breakfast, and friendly staff.
