My favorite hotel experience ever! Georgios and the rest of the staff treated us like family. The breakfast buffet was incredible - plenty of healthy, tasty options for vegetarians. The bed was comfortable, the balcony views of the sea were amazing, and the location was very convenient. Also there were washers and dryers available. Finally, the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend a stay at this friendly, beautiful, comfortable hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Stopped off at Hotel Karteros as our flight out of Heraklion was delayed. What a pleasant surprise. Well run family establishment, with manicured garden and pool. Best of all was the warm welcome from the owner Ilias and his family. Could not have been more accommodating. Thanks for transforming our disappointment over the flight delay into a most pleasant stay at your hotel.

Super hospitable staff who made our stay easier. Stunning gardens. Long breakfast hours. Coffee available all night long. Really felt at home. Comfortable with kids too. Great value for money. Rooms are old but good and have what you need.

Best hotel for a family, very friendly and kind staff. Great location close to the airport and the city. opposite to the sea. Many options in the breakfast buffet. Very clean rooms.The pool is clean and the kids enjoy it a lot. The hotel is also dog friendly.

The hotel is well situated close to the airport and there are numerous beaches in walking distance. It is a family run hotel, and there is a very friendly atmosphere. No effort is spared in keeping the rooms clean and tidy. The breakfast is appetizing and the selection is varied. Why stay in the city in summertime. It’s wiser to stay at a beachfront hotel . They is adequate parking area in front and to the side of the hotel. The hotel exceeded expectations.

CLEANLINESS MATTERS. SUPPLIES ARE MISSING. NOT ONE ICE WATER IN THE FRIDGE AND I BOUGHT ONE FROM THE RECEPTION 1.5 LITERS FOR 2 E. I WAS STOLEN. ONLY THE BREAKFAST WAS GOOD ENOUGH FOR THAT AND 2. I WANTED TO STAY LONGER BUT THERE WASN'T A SHOP NEARBY TO BUY A SIX OF WATER FOR THE SAME PRICE THEY SELL FOR A BOTTLE.
