Service staff were excellent! I asked for their help to make a reservation at restaurant for me and they really went all out to help! Amenities at the onsen were top notch skincare products and I even bought some at the store. Hotel was very clean. Do note that if you choose a Japanese style room, you will have to lay the futon out yourself! It’s a short walk from the station but it can get very dark during winter nights, which can be a little intimidating when you are walking alone.

Worth recommending 👍🏻, the family room is very large, and it is very comfortable and satisfying after soaking in the hot spring. There is no convenience store near the hotel. If you want to buy some food at the station, you will not be afraid of being hungry at night.

In Karuizawa, a city full of beautiful buildings, the old Karuizawa Harvest Festival Hotel has a beautiful exterior and interior that is no less beautiful than any other hotel. The room also has a beautiful forest view, and the atmosphere is very comfortable. The facilities are very complete, the public hot springs and breakfast are impeccable. Most importantly, the considerate and warm welcoming attitude of the hotel staff makes us, a group of travelers who have come all the way to Karuizawa, feel like we are being received by caring friends. So heartwarming. I personally highly recommend this hotel. If you are coming to Karuizawa, I highly recommend choosing this hotel as your stay.
