Stevie is the best host you can ever find! We were attending a Conference at Kopanong(nearby hotel) and our booked guest house left us to dry. We simply did a google search, found his details, contacted him in the middle of the night and he assisted us swiftly. He treated our team to tea and a warm welcome after being stuck outside in a cold winter night! He's an excellent host and his place is simply marvelous! You simply won't want to leave!

The place is beautiful on the side full of trees and flowers, there's couples of construction happening, not disturbing though. Clean rooms ND enough parking. The owner by the name of Stevie, very kind humble gentle man. He was there when we needed anything and made sure we had a pleasant stay. Very great host.

We spent a restful night at the Blue Mango between flights. It is conveniently near OR Tambo airport, yet in a quiet part of Kempton Park. Lovely, lush garden; clean and comfortable room. Our host, Daisy, was very warm, welcoming and interesting. We had a great chat over dinner.

An excellent resting place after a busy day. Away from the city noise though it is in the big city. Enjoyed the peaceful sleep and being wakened by the sound of beautiful birds. Will definitely come back.

Steevie is an amazing host and its house is like a little paradise !! The place is near Johanesbourg and Steevie is really nice, he comes to the airport to pick you up, and he makes amazing breakfast !! Thank you for all the things you teached us about South Africa and for your reception !! Marion

I have stayed at Blue Mango several times over the last few years, and once took the whole family there when they came to visit from the U.S. It's conveniently located next to the airport, the rooms and beds are very comfortable, and the dinner and breakfast are always outstanding. Stevie is a great host and always working hard to please the guests. This is a great hidden gem.

It was like staying in a friend's large house. My bedroom and ensuite bathroom were spacious and clean. The extensive gardens provided a restful environment where it was so easy to relax. They were full of shrubs, trees, flowers and bird life. Stevie was a great host and a fine raconteur.

Stevie is a great host and the lodge is beautiful. Stevie knows how to make you feel like home and is a great cook! The food and wine were great and the accomodation was perfect. I would have loved to stay longer but if I come back, I know where to stop. Thanks again for my stay Stevie!

Stevie is the genial host of this gem near the airport. Beautiful gardens, decent enough room, in a lodge type setting. Family owned and run, friendly staff and you will feel welcome here. Stevies roast potatoes are also to die for!
