Recommended. It isn't cheap, but no hotel will be in such a popular tourist area. The bedroom was large, comfy and well equipped and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was comprehensive and the full Irish breakfast was excellent. It's only 10-15 minutes walk into Killarney so no need to drive, and plenty of restaurants and pubs within easy reach. Plenty of parking too.

We stayed here as a family in two rooms. The. Real fast was nice—plenty of options. The people were lovely, though the first night they steered us to a meh restaurant… I think all of the reviews are accurate—the beds are soft and the pillows paper thin but the rooms are very clean minus some carpet stains. Location is great. Staff is very kind.

Spotless property, great service, local food sources, homemade bread in morning, toiletries in bedroom, kettle, coffee etc but no fridge so no bottled water. Breakfast excellent choice got and cold, especially porridge with irish cream liqueur, check out midday, short rive to Ross Castle , main town walkable, on axk step of ring of kerry. Would return no hesitation

Stayed in a family room for two nights, 2 adults / 2 children. Location was perfect, a very short walk to town centre, very close to the National Park and Ross Castle. Room was perfect, lots of space and very clean. Would definitely recommend.

If you are thinking to go to visit Killarney, the Old Weir Lodge is a great place to stay. Believe me! I am writing to express my utmost satisfaction and appreciation for the exceptional customer service and management provided at Old Weir Lodge. I had to book with short notice my accommodation and I manage this with them easily, and very welcome and well worth it way. They have a lovely breakfast, with an amazing apple muffins, one of the best I have tried. Delicious!!! Rachel and Maura (I hope not spelling wrong Maura’s name) are experts to help you out with the best menu suggestions or if you have any dietary restrictions, like myself, I am a gluten free customer. The room is very comfortable and the receptions they attentiveness have truly left a lasting impression on me. They provide a map of Killarney with good recommendations to places to visit and restaurants to have a taste meal. I do recommend them! Absolutely wonderful and great location. ★ ★ ★ ★★ Jackie Costa

Very happy with our stay here. A warm welcome, large attractive room at a very reasonable price. Great choice for breakfast and very tasty. Also great location, minutes walk from town. Exceptional value in such a central location. Would highly recommend.

Very friendly staff, they gave great recommandations. Rooms were very nice and big, also very clean. Breakfast was also very good, they had everything you could wish for. Ofcourse we had the traditional Irish breakfast :). A 10 minute walk brought you to the center of Killarney. Overall very nice stay, would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely brilliant. Far better than some 4* hotels. Everything about Old Weir Lodge was excellent. Location, parking, bedroom, lounges and the breakfasts were amazing. All staff so friendly and sincere. Would highly recommend it. Hopefully will return next year.
