The Russelhotel has nice clean rooms, spacious with tv and bathroom ensuite. We booked three rooms with double beds and found out that every room had an extra bed. A nice breakfast was included. Certainly worth visiting again.

Really a perfect hotel. It is called a turbine hotel, because the original site of the hotel is a power certer. But now it is converted into a hotel, the turbines and other equipment in the original factory are all preserved, and the decoration is improved. It is very small and fresh. Our room is located on the third floor (the second floor of South Africa). The room has a balcony facing the lagoon, and the scenery outside is super invincible. On the other side of the bathroom you can see the lake shore and the mountains on the other side. This hotel has almost become one of our attractions in knysna. The front desk is welcoming and you can also make a free wine tasting at the spa, reception location. We fell in love with the sherry in it, and the 200R bottle is about 100 RMB, which is very good. It is also very close to the lake, and it is less than five minutes by car. The price is too high.

Didn't stay for very long unfortunately as on a tour. But very clean, friendly staff, breakfast particularly good. Walking distance to the waterfront, and felt safe walking the 5 minutes back after dark. Not there long enough to try everything it had to offer, but would recommend based on my limited experience!

The hotel is beautifully furnished and offers very comfortable, quiet rooms. I personally missed having a bath, but the parking, friendly staff and walking distance to the waterfront (literally 50 metres) were an absolute bonus. The pizza oven in the restaurant is a real eye catcher as is the furniture in the restaurant. Stunning
