The The Villa I rented was excellent great service, great Location. The shower could do with a renovation as very little water was available. Nonetheless was very satisfied and happy with the hotel. I will certainly go back there when I am in Samui.

Exceptional clean and safety measures in place, made us feel secure during our stay. Would love to suggestion about breakfast ,should have more choice or offering a few menu for local. The staff there is very friendly and helpful 🙂

The worst hotel I've ever been in my life. Neglected, abandoned, breakfast without food, something funny. My wife received an electric shock the first evening and was almost killed by an exposed electrical cable in the shower, unbelievable

For the price I paid (35€ per night), Beach republic was ok. But there were issues that made me think that I would not spend there more than those 3 nights I booked.
Only saltwater pool.
Beach in front of resort is really unattractive.
No channels in TV. Netflix is there if you have credentials.
Person responsible of cleanings should be fired. Nobody had cleaned bathroon thoroughly for ages. Dozens of dead flies and bugs by the small window in the bathroon.
Toilet doesnt work properly. Only every other flushing really takes your "thing" out of the bowl.
During check in nobody told me that rooms are not cleaned (new towels, toilet paper, water, garbage away) automatically. Nobody told me that I should put some sign outside my door for cleaner. There was no sign in my room.
+ sides were comfortable bed, big balcony and walking distance to Nonna restaurant🤩 in general Lamai beach area was disappointing so there is no need to use Beach republic again.

Beautifully sea views. Breakfast lobby, pool and four poster sun beds were on the beach front. An appreciative sunny view whilst eating breakfast.
The room was clean, presented nicely with all the necessary facilities needed. Large balcony with view of the leading road to the reception. Staff were ok but could be more attentive to guests. Although I take my hat off to Pung who always greeted me, welcomed on arrival and exit. During my stay he was the most kind staff member as a lone traveller.
The hotel is located in Lamai a quiet area which was perfect for a working holiday. Walking distance to shops and some food places. Highlights were Cantina and Rock Reggae bar!! Great food, good drinks + nice welcoming atmosphere.
Definitely do some boat trips to near by islands. Highlight was Nanguan clear sea + so many fishes to see whilst snorkelling 🐠.
