I don’t know the people post 5 Star. The water heater machine had only boiling hot water, it must be broken, so we had to shut off the machine to use cold water only. The handy man was trying to fix it but he left with body language “I can’t fix I don’t know what to do”. I thought after that the lady at front desk will come to change the room but no action no response. The sheets had stain, blanket was soooo old. The bath towels are awfully worn out old. The door can’t close completely there is the space 4-5mm so insect came in to the room. The bed has only spring box it was no mattress so we felt each coil of spring is poking body so painful. The Middle of the night my husband got bit by huge centipede. Finally, We couldn’t sleep. The pool was nothing like pictures.

We stayed for 6 days, the property was beautiful. The pool was great. The beach was just ok. It is about a 20 walk to where all the action is at chewing beach which was great for us because we enjoy the quiet and peace. The hotel restaurant was decent but can use a bit of work on their cocktails. Staff was lovely and super helpful.

Despite it not being high season, just getting over COVID, was an absolutely awesome location to stay. Run by the owners, and they are very knowledgable and extremely helpful in everything you need. I cannot say anything bad about this place and will be staying here again, as I will be coming back.

The 3 star Resort with a 5 star Heart Having just revisited Papillon after a 3 year gap it was so nice to be welcomed back like old friends The staff at Papillon are just the best and cannot do enough for you and always with a smile Rooms : The rooms are cleaned everyday with fresh towels and linen with tea and coffee provided. Although the restaurant times and menu were reduced the food was delicious and very reasonably priced and served with a smile, the general areas are still looking lovely and kept clean and colourful. Thank you all at Papillon for making our stay so special after a difficult time for you, wishing you all the luck for a busier time ahead.

What a lovely place to stay. It's not in the center, about 30 minute walk from Chaweng Beach Road where all the bars and clubs are, but it's very quiet and right on the ocean. We had a sea view bungalow which was small but very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. There is a small pool, perfectly adequate for the size of the resort, a whirlpool and a children's pool. The restaurant serves lively food at good prices. Everything was great but the best thing was the owners and staff. The lady serving at the bar/restaurant was so nice and friendly and made us feel very welcome. The owners are lovely people and on site all day, making sure that everybody has everything they need, nothing is too much trouble. I highly recommend this place for a stay in a very quiet area close to the town. Keep up the good work!

Great hosts, lovely bungalow on the beach with air con, nice comfortable queen bed. Good pool. very good restaurant on site with english and thai dishes. And then the VIEW the best I've ever seen. Pictures can't do it justice but I will try.

Très déçu de l endroit Pas de plage Impraticable pour la baignade A gauche un dépôt d ordures amènes par la mer Bungalow viello Matelas inconfortable très très dur et d un côté du lit vous avez le mur Beaucoup d abitue .... en arrivant nous avons eu l impression de ne pas être à chaweng mais un club de repos Petit déjeuner correct mais servi à 8 h 30 (trop tard) Personnel très sympathique (les 2 dames) et personnel de ménage aussi Piscine sympathique Mais ce n est pas du tout ce que nous recherchons nous avons perdu 3 jours (cause des commentaires des habitués) qui je remarque ne supporte pas la vérité Pour accéder sur la route principale. 1 grande côte à monté Et c est à 2kms500 du centre oui il y a de l embiance Si vous chercher un coin tranquille sans ambiance sans plage vous êtes sans être trop difficile vous êtes au bon endroit Mes commentaires font peut-être mal mais c est la vérité Nous avons hélas choisi cet endroit à cause de commentaires de complaisance des habitués et ce n est pas très sympa de leur part Toute vérité est bonne à dire
