If you looking for an excluded location away from everything then this is the place for you. But for us this was more or less like an unfinished project. In my opinion it was in the middle of nowhere, there’s no kitchen in the villas and the on site “cafe/restaurant” has been temporarily closed since it’s been opened. The main swimming pool has no filter and doesn’t get cleaned, the wood planks is all coming off the hinges and at night it’s super dark with barely any lighting. The “beach front” is just a pile of rubber. Our villa was a garden villa with the only one that had a huge tree attracting all sorts of wild life. We couldn’t even sit in our garden as we constantly got bitten and when asked front desk they said they have no first aid on site. Rooms would barely get cleaned if requested.

Beautiful, shady, quiet school. but quite old Breakfast is not delicious. And it's breakfast served in the room. The school does not have clear signage. The restaurant in the school is closed for renovations.

The villa is amazing. There is a private pool, the rooms is spacious and the bathroom is huge. It was always clean and super quiet, you almost feel you have the resort all to yourself. The hotel's pool is very big and the beach is nice The staff is super friendly and helpful and always attentive to us. Especially Kaow, he is so nice and thoughtful!! You can rent a Moto directly at the reception and they bring it there, very convenient. They have juice and fruit everyday at the reception for free, to take to the room if you want. It's really nice. The bed is a bit uncomfortable because it sunks a lot. Also the breakfast was a bit confusing because in the first 2 days of our stay, we could order up to 3 dishes from the menu (included in our breakfast) besides the normal stuff that were displayed. On the other 2 days, we could only order eggs (different types, to our choosing) and also the normal stuff displayed.

I do not recommend this hotel!!! The hotel is nice, in a remote area, everything is far away. There are no amenities. Breakfasts are modest and monotonous, there was nothing to choose from. The hotel does not have a beach, there is a wall 2 meters high and immediately water! The photos are old, taken at low tide. The private pool is dirty, cleaned only if you ask for it. The hotel was bought and paid for by Agoda for 4 people, 2 + 2, children 8 and 15 years old. After arrival we were informed that we had to pay again for 1 person - we do not know why! The staff claims that a 15-year-old child is treated as an adult, but on Agoda we gave the age of the children and paid as much as Agoda required from us. The staff at the reception said that we had to pay, because if we did not pay they would call the police. They did not care how much we paid Agoda. They brutally threatened us with the police, laughing at us among themselves, speaking Thai. They didn't want to show us their reservation on the computer for us and they didn't want to look at our reservation on Agoda where it said the age of the children. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!!!

Stayed for 7 nights for our honeymoon. The place was meticulously maintained daily, the staff were absolutely fantastic. Only complaint was they stopped buffet hot breakfast on the last 3 days due to low amount of people staying and didn't inform us until we asked and the chef seemed to get lazy serving us rock hard old pancakes on our last day. The waitresses and main guest host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and happy. Were offered more discount and inclusive spa on our next visit. Highly recommend

1) Use or pay for the Hotel taxi it is cheaper than paying for the Airport Taxi service to X2 Resort. 2) Wifi reception is weak inside the villa, but outdoors by your villa pool is OK. (Bring a Wifi repeater to boost the signal into the villa) (Might be the Glass panel doors and Windows that is causing the wifi problem) 3) The Zoo and Aquarium next to the resort is small but decent, pay 100bht to go there, and 100bht to return. 4) The breakfast has a wide selection, champagne is offered. 5) Rooms are clean and neat, beach towel, umbrellas and slippers is offered. 6) Air-Con is very very strong. Good for warm days and nights. 7) Go to the Tesco at Lamai to shop for groceries (400bht taxi), at the entrance of Tesco (Across the road) there is a nice Japanese Sushi place. 7) if you want to visit a mall to shop, go to Central Festival.
