I had a great stay at ibis Samui Bophut. It’s a solid choice if you're looking for a clean, comfortable beachfront hotel without breaking the bank. The location is excellent—right on the beach and just a short walk or drive to Fisherman’s Village. The beachfront is quiet and peaceful, with beautiful views and plenty of space to relax. Rooms are compact but smartly designed. Everything was clean and well-maintained, with daily housekeeping. The bed was comfortable, and the air-conditioning worked perfectly. I especially appreciated the balcony with a view of the sea and garden. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always available to assist. Check-in was smooth, and the team was quick to offer suggestions for local food and transport. The pool area is a highlight—large, clean, and facing the beach. There are loungers around both the pool and the beach, so it's easy to find a spot to unwind. Breakfast was decent with a mix of Thai and international options. Nothing fancy, but enough to start the day. Overall, ibis Samui Bophut delivers great value for money. It’s ideal for travelers who want a beachfront hotel with essential comforts, a nice pool, and a relaxed vibe.

Celes Samui is a great hotel in a lovely, quiet, and relaxing spot — just a 10-minute walk from Fisherman’s Village. The rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable, and the location is fantastic. The restaurant food was delicious and breakfasts were very good. The beds are quite firm, which may not suit everyone, though the bedding itself was very good. The staff experience was mixed. Some were absolutely wonderful — especially the girl with the short dark hair at reception, who was friendly and helpful every day, along with the restaurant staff and the guys on the front gate. However, others weren’t as friendly, and at times even came across as aggressive. Check-in and check-out weren’t overly welcoming, and one housekeeper was very abrupt when I asked for extra towels and refused to leave until I gave her two towels which I didn’t actually have! The beach is beautiful to look at, but after about a metre in, the bottom is slimy, which made swimming less enjoyable. Because of this, we left for a few days to enjoy Lamai, which has a much more breathtaking beach. It’s a short cab ride away. All in all, I would still recommend Celes Samui — it’s a beautiful and peaceful place to stay with clean rooms and excellent food. But I didn’t find the staff friendliness as consistent as other reviewers have described, which was a bit disappointing.

In the Trip app, there is a swimming pool for relaxing, but there is none. The hotel is newly built and there is a lot of construction noise. There is garbage everywhere. The room looks like it is about 90% finished. The paint is not painted yet. There are a lot of mosquitoes. If it is finished, it will be beautiful, but I would like to criticize that if it is not finished, it should not be open for service. The staff service is good but not helpful.

Amazing place with the wonderful staff (kind,helpful,friendly and always smile on the face).Welcoming delicious coconut ice cream include!I booked the room with the ocean view - amazing view,comfortable,luxury one.Hotel is super clean.The breakfast was always fresh including the fresh tropical fruits,drinks etc.Also the hotel has the restaurant - prepared always the fresh local and non local food.Rhe hotel has also clean and nice swimming pool,privete beach witch is just down the stairs.The hotel also offers free towels for the beach,no need to bring your own.The Fisherman village is also not far away.Around this place you can take the taxi or ask the hotel staff and visit places around like Big Buddha etc. I fully recommended!!!

It’s a very nice resort little far up in the mountains up a narrow road quite dodgy in the heavy rains we experienced during our stay. The rooms are great I would of liked to see them give us some toothbrushes. The staff are really kind and helpful. Overall pleasant experience . Incredible view from your room.

Everything about this hotel was absolutely amazing! The staff was fantastic—very attentive and professional. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, and the property itself was stunning, with beautiful landscaping and plenty of areas to relax. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, offering a wide variety of high-quality options. However, there are a couple of downsides. The beach line is quite narrow, and the sand is relatively coarse, though this seems to be a characteristic of the entire North Coast. Additionally, the rooms are designed in a way that you can hear your neighbors, as they are separated by connecting doors. This can occasionally affect privacy and quietness. Overall, despite these minor issues, everything else was perfect, and I would still highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay!

Not bad hotel with large green garden. Its not new and its like more 4 stars. Beach is really small and you can walk along only in low tide. Stuff is really friendly. Breakfast is ok. Good for this money. Room is well-equipped.

I was attracted by the hotel restaurant at first sight, so I placed an order. When I arrived, I found that the view was really great. It was close to the sea and had a sense of the Mediterranean. The hotel is small and beautiful, quiet, with a swimming pool. When swimming, the waiter will ask if you want free drinks. Half of the breakfast is self-service, usually ordered, and the eggs and desserts are good. The staff are very warm and friendly. The location is close to the night market in the small fishing village, and it is very convenient to rent a motorcycle.

It’s been a week since I stayed here at the Explorar and I’m still thinking about the incredible breakfast! On arrival, the team were so friendly and accommodating. During check in we were served a fresh cool jasmine scented face towel accompanied by a young coconut and some local coconut rum. It was such a nice touch. The room was very lovely and the facilities were excellent. We stayed in the private plunge pool room and it was a great addition. The location is very convenient. We were able to book two scooters at the hotel to use during the stay, which I highly recommend. The hotel pool and bar are not to be missed.

Really enjoyed our stay at Adarin, great location on the beach with very good, clean facilities. The staff were super helpful, arranging taxis, scooters and ferry trips. Enjoyed lovely early morning swims across the bay ( I am a long distance swimmer so it was great from this point of view, down some steps and you are into deepish water to start your swim). Lovely sundowner and dining/brekky spot. Would definitely stay again
