This hotel is so luxurious and spacious and the staff cannot do enough for you. The big clean pool is next to the beach and sun beds in the grass make a perfect combination. Plenty of space to sit and relax. The sports facilities are more than I have ever seen with a wellness retreat here making the most of them all. The spa has a nice indoor pool and I had an excellent massage. The food has plenty of choice and the dining areas are lovely including an Al la carte and a beach bar. The rooms are cleaned twice a day and products replaced and good quality. Hotel rooms are all with balcony and big and no more than 3 stories high. There are pool side rooms and more private ones with private pools. The bars all make good cocktails and all have nice coffee and plenty of staff and never a wait. Staff also remember what you normally order.

We had a lovely time here at this hotel! It was very relaxing being next to the poolside and having a very short walk to the beach. The food was great and offered good selections especially as I am a vegetarian. The staff were really accommodating and welcoming.

I have just returned from this beautiful hotel. I had not booked to stay at this hotel ( we had been let down by another hotel and were transfered to Cavo Spada) . Every member of the team of staff at this hotel are amazing. We had a poolside room which has a patio area with table and chairs and sun loungers, and gives you direct access to a lovely pool. The hotel is spotless, the food is good, the themed restaurants give you options, and the azzuro al a carte restaurant is well worth a visit. You can relax as much as you like at this hotel because of its quiet location, or be as active as you like at all of the regular activities, indoor and outdoor gym, tennis courts, spa, regular organised workout classes, even spin classes. If you do book this hotel you will not be disappointed. A special mention to hotel manager Kantaras, this guy goes out of his way to make you and your stay a special stay. He has an amazing team around and you deserve all of the plaudits that you get.

We came here for our birthday we needed a week of relaxation. As a hotel worker in uk myself this hotel offers so much. The staff from checking in.lady with dark hair and pony tail in reception looked after me and my fiancé all week my birthday was 6th and his 10th. We both got a birthday cake it was amazing. This hotel is super clean. We had room 102 which was a swim up room. Totally best room in the hotel we think. In the restaurant Antonio was amazing. He was there day and night looking after all the guests. Such a credit to this hotel. I can’t have a single bad review. I will deffo return here. If you want a week of relaxation this is the hotel. Not much around tbh but you can get bus to Chania for less than 3 euros. Chania is beautiful and only 50 mins from the hotel. Kolymbari is only 15 mins but very quiet. There is absolutely nothing around here but totally quite amazing hotel with some entertainment at night. But mostly the daytime is fantastic Georgina in pool bar is brilliant super friendly such a big credit to this hotel. Overall I would give this hotel 5/5 - I would deffo recommend this hotel if you fancy a week of relaxation.

Spent a week here with my mum. First time in a 5* and it exceeded all expectations. Hotel is on the beachfront on a very quiet stretch of coast. Big pool, lots of sport activities to participate in daily. Yoga right by the sea. Food was great, staff were so friendly and accommodating, especially Eleni!! They were happy to book us taxi’s to different beaches and had the same driver pick us up, which made us feel very safe as women travelling alone. Would suggest renting a car to keep exploring Crete cheaper. Room was cleaned twice a day. Will be coming back!!

Absolutely fantastic resort, excellent food and service. Hotel stuff is very friendly. Perfect for active people due to many sport activities. Rooms are clean with high hygienic standards. Long beach, sea close to the hotel. Highly recommended for wonderful holidays.

If you are after a relaxing chilled week at a fantastic hotel then Cavo Spada is for you. The staff were amazing. The food was lovely and varied (and we only ate in the main restaurant). The bedroom and bathroom were a very good size and were cleaned very well every day. The pool area is nice and there were always plenty of sun beds. The only downside is that there isn’t anywhere to walk out on an evening but we knew this when we booked. A trip into Chania is a must. Very much enjoyed our day there. I’m quite fussy and I am usually disappointed with hotels abroad but Cavo SPADA exceeded my expectations on lots of levels.
