Just spent one night before my Komodo boat trip. Basic hotel with basic facilities. But since the hotel is located on top of the hill, the sunset view from room was unexpectedly gorgeous;)
We come from a terrible experience at the previous hotel. And the truth is that we were super comfortable here. We had a problem in the room with hot water on the second night. Seeing that the breakdown was serious and there was no quick fix. And they gave us the option to shower in another location where such a service was available. The pool is very good, and the staff is super friendly and they try to help you with everything we ask of them. The location is a little far from the port area, which is where the city life is. But in favor is that it gives a lot of calm and tranquility. I recommend it without a doubt if you take a motorcycle or transport. By the way, we had a motorcycle that they arranged for us within 30 minutes of our arrival at the hotel at the same price as what was available later in the city.

The Hotel Aulia provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Hotel Aulia is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Komodo. The hotel offers easy access to Komodo Airport, just 1km away. Keeping busy is easy, with Masjid Nurul Fallah Waemata, Mikumba Diving and MASJID BAITURROHIM LAMTORO all nearby. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site.
New and well managed structure. The very young staff is also really exceptional. However, the non-central position will suffer from the possibility of renting a bike on the site at a very affordable price. Recommended!!
I recently stayed at Bintang Flores Hotel and was impressed. The location offers stunning views of the harbor, making it a perfect spot for relaxation. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and modern amenities. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant experience throughout my stay. Additionally, the hotel’s pool area provided a great place to unwind after a day of exploring. Overall, Bintang Flores Hotel is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Labuan Bajo.
The hotel seems renovated, so the bathroom and the room is clean, decoration within the room are simple but essential.
Good facility and private pool and beach. View was great, food is so-so, but staffs are friendly.
Slightly far from town but we don't mind walking for a about 15mins, there is a nice pizza place just outside the hotel too, really recommended. Overally quite worth the price.
Zazgo Hotel left a positive impression on me! The room was spacious and clean, while the staff were polite and attentive to guests' requests. The hotel's location is also convenient – not far from the city's main attractions.
However, I want to note an important point for those planning to use the laundry service: be sure to clarify the price before handing in your clothes. In my case, the cost turned out to be higher than expected, although the quality of the laundering was good.
Overall, I recommend this hotel, especially for its comfort and location, but be mindful when using additional services.

Outstanding
LLaurie CameronGood value for money. The location is near the harbour, so it’s convenient to stay if you do any day trips. Downstairs is a cute Italian restaurant. And the stuff will give you extra towels to take on your day trip.
GGuest UserTHIS IS THE PLACE! Conveniently located, clean hotel with extremely attentive staff. This is one of the few places where i did not feel the need to keep my sandals to take a shower. Bathroom was visibly well cleaned, as well as floors and bedding. Room is stocked with the standard 2 water bottles. Unlike many other hotels, this one has an elevator. Friendly staff are always waiting at the 24-hour front desk and just outside the lobby to help with anything. Pretty well insulated from outside noise despite being on the main street. Only minor issue is air conditioner is positioned a distance from the bed but we resolved that by closing the bathroom door to minimize loss of air flow. Would absolutely stay here again.
GGuest UserThe place was great and affordable for a family getaway. The pool in our room was adequate sized and clean. Be ready for lots of mosquitoes. But the hotel was kind enough to provide us with aerosol sprays. Shower area was great but there were some stains on the WC lid cover. The food could be improved alot. It was subpar. Otherwise staff were very helpful and even prepared a breakfast pack for us before we went on our excursion to komodo island.
Food 2/5.
GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay! The hotel’s ambiance was lovely, starting with a breezy, open-air lobby that immediately set a relaxing tone. My room was comfortable and well-appointed, although it didn’t have a view. The highlight was definitely the rooftop breakfast—great selection with an incredible view to match! There was a small gym, though it could use a bit more equipment. Overall, a fantastic experience in a beautiful setting.
AAMEERULEverything is good but
1. The room is too small. Suite only for a couple & can't extra bed because of the space.
2. One of the room (no. 3), the sliding door can't close properly. The hook almost pull out from frame.
3. Not suitable for elderly except the rooms at level ground that can enter from backlane.
AAnonymous Userreally enjoy throughout 3 nights here, such a calm serenity hotel, easy access to eateries area. you also can rent a bike thru hotel dan return shuttle services to airport with reasonable price! breakfast was good, staff were friendly 🤗💕
GGuest UserThe hotel offers a range of services (hotel transfer, via speedboat, snorkeling in their exclusive coral reef, etc. ) and the staff is very welcoming, making travelers feel special guests.
The island is perfect for relaxation, allowing guests to connect with other guests if they want, as the number of rooms/bungalows is limited. The beach and coral reef are immaculate and very safe from dangerous currents allowing close approach with colorful fish, sea turtles and other tropical marine creatures.
Facilities are well maintained and the limited wifi (mostly accessible from the restaurant area) means that you can stay isolated from the external world and connect to it only when you want to.
Price is very reasonable for the excellence of the service provided. Ideal for couples or single travellers looking for tranquility.
GGuest UserI had a wonderful experience. Although the location is a bit far from Komodo Town, it is perfect for those seeking tranquility. The hotel is situated next to a beautiful beach, providing a serene and picturesque setting. The breakfast was delicious, offering a variety of tasty options. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.
GGuest UserVery cute hotel far away from the hussel and bussel of everything.
While the distance might inconvenience some, that was exactly what we were looking for.
As mentioned in the other comments, the hotel isn’t the easiest to get to as you have to go down a little goat path if you come in from the top of the mountain.
Definitely recommend getting the shuttle offered by the hotel to pick you up from the airport as our taxi driver had a hard time finding it haha.
Super friendly staff, ready to help no matter the issue, even carried our (and in my case very heavy) suitcases down the path.
Food is average but prepared with care. Electricity and (hot) water is limited and internet is only available in the main area from 6-9pm but they extended that time for us as we were the only people there at that time.
Cute little beach in front of the hotel though there is a lot of trash (not the hotel’s fault- visible across all the islands)
Just 1 tip: BRING MOSQUITO SPRAY! 🤭
The average price for hotels in Komodo is AED 708 on weekdays, and AED 708 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
