The welcome, the room and staff were excellent. The lovely hotel was centrally placed in Konigswinter in a pedestrianised street and parking was within easy reach. There were no tea and coffee facilities, mini fridge or air-conditioning in the room although a fan was supplied. Our biggest surprise was that upon our arrival we were told the only breakfast option was plant based! This was not indicated at time of booking or at any time prior to our arrival. We felt we should have been told in advance of our arrival.

Amazing hospitality. From the moment we arrived, the owner was welcoming. He gave us a drink, chatted to us, and recommended restaurants. The room was lovely. Konigswinter was a surprise too and well worth a visit. Great Castle! Would stay here again without hesitation.

All the attributes of a feel-good hotel can be found here. Charming welcome and farewell, friendly staff, dream breakfast, top rooms and very tasteful interior. Here, modernity meets a little bit of Rhine romance. We'll be back!!

Beautiful hotel and super friendly staff and owner. Rarely experienced something like this. Great location in the center of the city and pedestrian zone. The breakfast was a little different and the rooms were good. Everything was very clean and modern. The parking issue was solved very well.

From the exceptionally friendly welcome from the boss himself, to the lovingly furnished family suite in the attic, which offered a peaceful night, to the very different but substantial breakfast with a friendly and energetic waiter, it was a consistently pleasant stay during our hike. The only downside: knowing that something like this will be hard to repeat in the coming days.

A bright star in the somewhat sleepy sky of Königswinter. Beautifully renovated, lovingly designed down to the last corner and the rooms immaculately clean. The highlight is the vegan breakfast, which cannot be topped in terms of variety and diversity, served by charming staff who take great care of the guests. Wir haben im Hotel Krone in Königswinter einen Geburtstag gefeiert und waren rundum begeistert! Vom ersten Moment an fühlten wir uns willkommen – das Ambiente ist stilvoll und gemütlich, der Service außergewöhnlich herzlich und aufmerksam. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns das vegane Essen – jedes Gericht war mit viel Liebe zubereitet, geschmacklich hervorragend und wunderschön angerichtet. Ein echtes Highlight! Auch die Übernachtung war perfekt: Das Zimmer war komfortabel, ruhig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Ich habe selten so gut geschlafen! Dieses Hotel hat ganz klar 5 Sterne verdient. Wir kommen definitiv wieder und können es nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen!
