Hotels in Klong Muang Beach, Krabi

We had a really really great time at Aspira. The staff were really amazing and kind. The manager spoke great English so it was really easy to communicate. The rooms are big and spacious. However the one they gave us was on the highway and the soundproofing wasn't great. But we did get good sleep probably because we were really tired. They provided us with beach towels of our own when we were going to the beach. The beach is however a long walk (850 m) but they had special offer where they provided free shuttle service to the beach every two hours (no return though). The location is however in middle of what seems like a small village - town, with really great local eateries. You can go to Aonang if you want to have a night life which is 13 km away. You can also hike uphill to another Beach town. The location is ideal for a good time for Klong Muang which we believe was the best beach around the town. Explore the local food places run by women around the way to go to Klong Muang. They are super tasty at an affordable price , cook to order.

very nice quiet area. A little dar from shops but nice if you want to relax. For me the air conditioner was too noisy. But staff are super nice. If you don't mind some noise from all the aircons it's perfect

It was clean because it was newly built. The location is a little far from the city, but it seems difficult to find accommodation of this level in this price range. It was nice to be able to use it as a private house, and the swimming pool was clean and nice. There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby just a short distance away, so it is completely quiet and has basic infrastructure. It is very cost-effective. It was great!

We booked Anyavee Krabi Resort last minute and got one of the apartment looking rooms facing the beach and pools. This was by far one of the best places we booked out of 4 other resorts we stayed in Thailand. The beach access is truly a beach access with a section for private boats and a section for swimming. I also like that one of the pools was open late and lit up for anyone that wanted to have a late night swim. We had breakfast at the restaurant and it was one of the best we had with one of the best views. Apparently you can rent a private tour to the islands from the beach front which we wish we did since we had already completely the speedboat tour. The customer service at the front was amazing as the manager/owner (not sure), welcomed and thanked us when we arrived and left. The room was super clean and large but the bed in my opinion got a little firm. The washroom was super spacious and had everything you needed. If I can suggest 2 things they need to improve would be the coziness of the bedroom and the hot hair blowing from the AC into the balcony when you sat there. A redirect vent to the outside could fix this. We never sat in the balcony as there was always hot blowing air from the AC. Inspite of these 2 things I would still rate this place 5 stars because of all the other amenities. We wish we had stayed longer but next time we come we would stay at one of the bamboo bungalows facing the beach for sure !

I stayed at Varana Hotel for three nights on my solo birthday trip, and it was truly a memorable experience. The hotel is new, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. On my first day, I tried the NAAM hydrotherapy, and it was the perfect way to unwind after a long drive—so relaxing and calming. The staff were great at explaining each step, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I also had an aromatherapy massage, which was equally relaxing. The therapist was polite, professional, and made me feel completely at ease. The gym is brand new and impressively well-equipped, and the breakfast each morning was fantastic—both in taste and the stunning view that came with it. What made my stay truly special, though, were the people. The staff, especially those at SALA, were incredibly warm and attentive. They often stopped by to chat and offered thoughtful recommendations on activities and places to visit. As someone traveling solo for the first time, I felt so welcomed and cared for—alone, but never lonely. To top it all off, they surprised me with a birthday cake, which was such a heartwarming touch. I would absolutely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil and meaningful getaway.

Stayed 3 nights at Dusit. Had a pleasent experience overall. Breakfast selection was decent enough. Rooms were clean and spacious. The staff working there were all amazing! Very friendly and helpful. Hotel amenities were awesome though. Hotel comes with complimentary workout classes and water sports for those interested. The pools were huge with more than enough sunbeds spread throughout the pools and beach. The private beach at the resort is amazing as well. Its never busy and had awesome views of sunsets. But be prepared to walk alot in this resort as it is such a huge compund. You can request a buggy but it may take a while. Not the most convenient in terms of location but it is to be expected for a private resort. There are decent restaurants nearby if you want other places to eat other than at the resort. This is the place for anyone looking to relax and zen out. Would choose to stay there again just for the vibes and serenity.

Lovely resort in a quiet location right on the beach. The staff were so friendly and welcoming which really makes the place. I stayed in a lower garden villa (not really a villa as such as there was one on top of mine), it was spacious, clean and nicely furnished. My room was surround by plants which made it feel like I was staying in the jungle. Really peaceful and only the birds singing to wake up to. Ate in the restaurant twice and the food was delicious. My only negative comment would be that I would say it’s more of a 4 star hotel. I would definitely stay again though

Stayed here in Apr 2025 for an anniversary getaway. Spa was fantastic and the ambience was worth the trip, even though it was a bit pricey. Pool area and hotel grounds were incredibly maintained and clean. Fairly quiet and relaxing in the adult section of the pool. Drinks were good and service was quick. Situated on a quiet stretch of highway, but ATM within a few minutes walk. Easy to rent a small motorbike along the beach road and get into Krabi town proper in about 20-25 minutes with minimal traffic. We needed to take a few trips in to the main strip for dinners on the beach. There was a big 3-day wedding celebration underway while we were there, but the crowd wasn't disrespectful or obnoxious. Ate at the Italian restaurant, and it was decent but too expensive for what it was. Stick to the cocktails and skip the wine if you do eat there, though. Gym was fine. Nothing overly noteworthy there. Room amenities were good. Shower and bathing facilities in the room were also pretty good. Took a day trip island hopping out of the hotel concierge. Probably could have found the same trips for much cheaper in Krabi Town, but unless you're able to ride a bike to get there and find all the big tour companies, you're stuck paying the premium. Tour itself was really nice, however. Nice tour guide in a nice, fast boat who was really helpful taking photos of me and my wife. Apart from the price point, I don't have any real complaints overall. I'm not a golfer, so that might've changed my perspective. Lounge singers were fantastic. Would probably recommend it to a friend if they were looking for a peaceful experience in the same vein as Koh Lanta. Breakfast buffet was decent. We didn't try the a la carte restaurant.

It's very good. There's the sea just across the road from the door. I caught crabs, sea cucumbers and big shells. The room is very comfortable and you can put together a big bed. The breakfast is good and the price of the restaurant is very reasonable. It's better than the small restaurants outside. But the big kid has to add 1200 pigs for bed and breakfast, and the small kid has to add 150 pigs for breakfast.
