"Hotel was located at a fantastic location. Ao nang beach was right in front of the hotel. Walkable distance to local shopping. Breakfast was good as they changed Thai dishes daily. Room service, concierge available. Swimming pool is good but allowed only if you wear proper swimming suit. They will provide towels as well. Room was clean and spacious. Stayed in building A which had the pool and Mountain View. Overall, enjoyed my stay."

"Excellent hotel on Railay Beach. We booked a bungalow in the Sunset wing. The bungalow was clean, with daily housekeeping, and they offer buggy service around the resort. Breakfasts were average but had everything you needed. Beautiful sunsets and a great view from the restaurant. The only downside was the huge number of mosquitoes, but the hotel staff kindly provided a mosquito repellent device."

"Really great location, close to the Pier - everything in Railay Beach is within about 10-20 minutes walk, from one side of the "island" to the other, but being close to the Pier is good when you have to carry luggage. Big rooms, quiet resort, no children of course. One tip - dont try to check in early... even in low season where there was maybe 5 other rooms booked, they still made us wait until 2pm to go into our room. They do have an air conditioned waiting area, and even though out room was ready we still had to wait which was a shame. Also, the bar doesn't open until 3pm, so we couldn't buy a drink here while waiting. Aside from this, breakfast was pretty tasty, but minimal options. Still glad we booked with breakfast as most things aren't open until later in the day. Great place to stay for a couple of days, but next time I'd probably just visit Railay as a day trip from Ao Nang."

"The location is great, right on Klong Muang beach. Within walking distance of many eateries, massage places, laundry and convenience stores. The hotel name is not on grab yet but you can select Baan Tha Ley restaurant and Ma’s Sea Beach House is just beside it, look for the small blue seashell logo! The room is clean and bed and pillows super comfortable, aircon and hot water works well with good water pressure. Plenty of amenities provided: flip flops, bedroom slippers, bathrobes, beach towels, fridge and plenty of bottled water. There are only five rooms available so it seems like there are no full time staff around, but the hotel manager can always be reached on WhatsApp for cleaning requests and any other matter."

"Visited in peak season (January) and it was incredibly crowded. All rooms were booked, and Railay Beach was packed like sardines. The facilities are definitely 4-star. I tried both the private bungalow, which was about 300+ baht more, and the basic double room. The independent private bungalow offered a much better bathroom and a more resort-like atmosphere. I'd definitely recommend not skimping on that extra cost. The sunrise and the night view when it's less crowded at Railay Beach are still beautiful. However, I'm genuinely fed up with Southeast Asia. Even if you're willing to spend a lot, the sheer number of people everywhere makes it feel like a budget backpacker trip. Oh, and a point I haven't seen mentioned: currently, the boats from the hotel to Ao Nam Mao pier (which doesn't require wading) are very infrequent, only at times like 2 PM and 4 PM. I suggest just taking the public boats; they depart once enough people have gathered. Also, this hotel is a 4-star, and the main difference from a 5-star is the lack of service – everything is self-service. Come prepared for that. One more thing: if you want to go to Ton Sai Beach, which is next to Railay Beach, I recommend wading through the water from the beach. Just be careful. Don't take the other mountain path! That experience was really bad – the path is narrow, difficult to walk, very primitive, and unmaintained, and you'll get bitten a lot."
