Djambo was just what we needed for our first trip to Bonaire. It is close to the beach and the town centre, and easy walking to restaurants and shops. It is very quiet, and is adults only (important for me as I am a teacher on spring break!). All of my emails were answered promptly and Dick and Liselotte were super helpful and accommodating. The pool is very clean and cool with lots of spots to sit and relax. The bar opens from 5:30-7 and you can chat with other guests or the owners. The room was clean and we really liked the outdoor kitchen. We stayed on the top floor because my husband is a light sleeper. You get the afternoon sun so it's warm but you can close the doors and there are still shady spots to sit with them open. The bed was really comfortable. There was little noise at the hotel at all really. It was lovely. And excellent value!

We were in Bonaire for a diving holiday and found Djambo by accident. The complex is fabulous. The room design is amazing and features an open air kitchen and dining area which was very useful. We even had a small room to store suitcases. I would thoroughly recommend and we’ll be back on our next trip.

We have had a 10 days stay ad a four persons apartment. It is a very quiet en excellent stay. You can walk to Kralendijk. As soon as you are entering the complex, je think you are on an island at Bonaire. A big swimming pool, surrounded with a nice garden and beds to sit or lay into. There is enough privacy to relax. You can change your handtowels as often as you like and the cleaning of your apartment is often enough. The kitchen is good and there was a large refrigerator with freezer. The owner are living next door so if you have any question they are very willing to give you the right answer. We think Djambo is a must.

My wife and I stayed here for a 10 day dive holiday. Djambo is clean, quiet, friendly and relaxing place to stay for a dive holiday. This was our 4th time in Bonaire but first time here. As divers, we are not looking for the amenities of a 5 star resort or a place to party at night. We liked the proximity to shopping, the ability to cook in a lanai setting, or the option of walking into town for a restaurant meal. We'll definitely be coming back. Thank you Martin & Ilse for making things easy!

The accommodations and the people at Djambo exceeded every expectation, every time. The rooms were welcoming, spotless, and inviting. Private apartments, full kitchens, a lovely outside space, and friendly people everywhere. The pool is beautiful, as are all the grounds. It is obvious that a lot of planning and maintenance and pride goes into this hotel. Even the laundry facilities and places for washing dive gear were spotless and complete. All your needs have been anticipated and provisions have been made. Easy walk into town, but far enough outside to have quiet. And the owners, who live on-site, are some of the genuinely kindest people I have ever met. Many people are return visitors, as I will be next time I visit Bonaire. I would consider no where else! We stayed for a month; I wish it had been longer.

For the 5th time we stayed here and the layout of the site is just perfect for relaxing, socialising and just enjoying your stay. At a walking distance of 10 minutes from the nice town center with all of its restaurants and shops the location is great. They cooperate with AB Car rental and AB dive and can arrange all you need for a perfect scuba diving holiday. Mostly visited by Dutch and other European people.

Das war unser fünfter Aufenthalt im Djambo für 3 Wochen in diesem Jahr. Alles war wie immer perfekt . Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und gut erholt. Taucher sind hier willkommen. Die Becken zum Reinigen der Ausrüstung sind immer sauber. An der Djambar trifft man bei einer guten Auswahl von Cocktails und anderen Getränken immer auf nette Leute. Vielen Dank bis zum nächsten Jahr. Die Bilder sind vom nahe gelegenen Tauchplatz Bachelor‘s Beach

Wir sind als junges Paar 17 Tage im Djambo genächtigt. Begeistert hat uns vorallem die Abwicklung der Buchung mit AB-Dive. Lieselotte hat alles organisiert und wir wurden bereits am Flughafen von AB empfangen und zu unserem Pickup gebracht. Täglich wurden wir anschließend mit Tauchtanks beliefert. Die Lieferung war kostenlos und es waren immer genug Flaschen verfügbar. Ebenfalls ist die Aufbewahrung des gesamten Tauchequipments in Djambo separat und verschließbar ideal möglich. Die Waschbecken waren immer frisch und frei zugänglich. So haben wir 30 Tauchgänge auf Bonaire mit unzähligen Schildkröten, Adlerrochen, Frogfischen, Seepferdchen... genossen. :-) Die Bar und familiäre Atmosphäre, gleichzeitig mit Adults Only und ständiger Ruhe waren wirklich einzigartig. Wir haben super Ratschläge an der Bar von Dick und Lieselotte erhalten. Vorallem die neu startenden Mario und Anto passen perfekt zum Djambo Team und haben uns an unserem Hochzeitstag mit einer Überraschung den Tag versüßt. Die Lage ist optimal, man ist sehr schnell im Süden bei den Tauchplätzen und zu fuß in ein paar Minuten bei Supermärkten und in der Stadt. 100% Weiterempfehlung

Na aankomst op het vliegveld stond een taxi klaar om ons naar “Djambo” te brengen geregeld door de eigenaren. We werden heel hartelijk ontvangen, je bent blij verrast als je deze sfeervolle locatie binnen komt. Het appartement is kleurrijk en van alle gemakken voorzien. De slaapkamer heeft airconditioning, de bedden liggen heerlijk en het beddengoed, handdoeken en keukenlinnen worden regelmatig verschoond, prima verzorgd. De schoonmaak van het appartement en het onderhoud van de tuin en het zwembad verdient een grote pluim. Rondom het zwembad zijn voldoende ligbedden om te relaxen in de zon en heel leuke schaduwplekken onder de paleppo’s of onder de palmbomen. Je verblijft in een oase van rust binnen een eigen sfeer gecreëerd door de eigenaren. Voor duikers is er een ruimte om je spullen schoon te maken en veilig te stellen. Een aantal dagen is aan het eind van de middag de gezellige bar geopend, een ontmoetingsplaats om met andere gasten kennis te maken. Er is werkelijk aan alles gedacht om je verblijf op “Djambo” zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Dit is een plek om terug te komen!
