Great hotel to stay in Kunming. The staff services are good. They give us a free upgrade and very helpful. A plus point is there is humidifier in the room, which is very helpful in the dry weather of Kunming.

Enjoying my stay at Ramada Encore hotel. I travelled back to Kunming from Lijiang and it’s a late night, but the check in was smooth and easy. The reason I stayed here again is its location and spacious room, short walk from Kunming railway station. Breakfast is lovely. Front desk staff with good service-mind, they’re always smile and very friendly!

- The front entrance of the building is not accessible for vehicles, which makes it difficult to call a DiDi pickup directly in front of the hotel. You will need to walk a bit further for a car to stop safely, as the front of the building is on a large road and stopping there is not allowed for safety reasons.
- I wasn’t impressed with the lobby. I expected more from a hotel with the Ramada name, but the lobby felt underwhelming.
- The staff did not assist with luggage or any other services, and the lift is quite outdated.
- The room was clean, and I have no complaints about it.

We had a one night stay, so this review is based on our short experience. The hotel staff was very kind and we were able to communicate fine between English and Mandarin. The room itself was clean and had all the toiletries we needed. The location was within walking distance to the train station, which was what we needed. Lots of food options in the area.
