"This hotel is just across the street from Cuihu Lake, making it incredibly convenient for a stroll around the lake or a city walk through the surrounding alleys. Although it's 70 years old, it's well-maintained and doesn't feel dated at all. The pool is fantastic, I'd even describe it as sparkling clean. Breakfast was delicious, and the coffee was the best I had on this entire Yunnan trip. The front desk staff were warm and attentive. My only minor suggestion would be for the concierge to be a bit more proactive; I didn't see anyone when I arrived or left. Overall, I'm quite satisfied."
