"The room was surprisingly large and spacious, offering great value for money. The only downsides were a persistent smoke smell in the room and a cigarette burn hole on the pillow. Even though I requested a non-smoking room and it seemed to have been aired out, the smoke smell was still too strong for a sensitive person like me to sleep. I'd suggest better bathroom cleaning and stricter non-smoking enforcement in the rooms."

"I had a layover in Kunming for one night and chose the Atour Hotel with the best location. Atour's bedding is always top-notch, and after a night on a soft sleeper train, I really needed a good night's rest. The hotel is right next to the old street, and there's a meat pie shop nearby that always has a long line. I couldn't resist buying two, and they were indeed delicious when hot 😋. In the evening, I could easily stroll around and explore the old street, trying out the insect banquet and mushroom banquet – definitely worth a try 🙃."

"They upgraded us to a family twin room! The double-layered soundproof windows were amazing, we couldn't hear any airport noise at all, which made sleeping with the baby incredibly peaceful. The front desk staff, Ms. Xu, Ms. Nuo, and Ms. Tong, were also super patient in helping us confirm our airport shuttle time. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and not at all cramped. My child immediately fell in love with the Little Yellow Duck cartoon bedding. It came equipped with a 65-inch smart TV that could mirror screens and smart curtains – truly well-equipped! It's the perfect place to stay if you're catching a flight, and the airport pick-up/drop-off service was also a thoughtful touch!"

"This time I came to Kunming by train and chose the Holiday Inn Express very close to the North Exit. The location is incredibly convenient; you don't have to rush for high-speed trains or regular trains, saving you the hassle of traveling back and forth. The hotel is new, the room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a wet/dry separation, and hot water came quickly. The front desk staff were friendly, and check-in/check-out was very efficient. They also responded promptly to any issues. The breakfast selection was comprehensive, including some local simple dishes, perfect for fueling up before heading out to explore. The whole place was quiet, not noisy at all, making it suitable for business trips or as a stopover during travel. As an international chain brand, the quality is reliable and the price is fair. If you want a hassle-free trip, this is a great choice. I'll prioritize staying here again next time I visit Kunming. Highly recommended!"

"The hotel's location is great, making it convenient to get anywhere. However! **Cleanliness:** When I entered the room, there was a strong smell of smoke. I'm not sure if the sheets were changed, as I felt itchy while sleeping. **Facilities:** Outdated. **Environment:** The soundproofing is very poor. I could clearly hear people talking outside until two in the morning (I was staying on the side facing the parking lot). When staying at a hotel, all I ask for is a good night's sleep, and both the cleanliness and soundproofing were lacking."
