Horizon Hotel Yunnan

We stayed here for 2 nights. We received a warm welcome upon arrival, which set a positive tone for our stay. Special thanks to Sam the butler and another gentle an who was very helpful and attentive. Another gentleman, possibly the manager, was also very polite and accommodating, which we truly appreciated. The hotel lobby is spacious and smells great, creating a pleasant first impression. Our room was comfortable, with decent pillows and mattress. It also had various small items provided, but some had unclear functions—adding a bilingual guide would be very helpful for foreign guests. Housekeeping was quick and responsive. When we had an issue and called for help, we couldn’t speak Chinese, but someone came directly to our door to understand what we needed—this effort was very much appreciated. One area for improvement: the lady at the front desk when we checked in on 30 Apr should improve her customer service skills, especially when assisting international guests. Overall, a pleasant and welcoming stay with helpful staff and a few areas that could make the experience even better.

This hotel was very superb includes location just 5 min walk from Dongfeng Square station Exit H or Exit A also breakfast has various choice which can be both your breakfast and lunch. In room amentity was very well set as per our need. The room inside was clean no smoking smell. Our last day, we have a chance to try Chinese Restaurant on 3rd floor. Actually we think the price must be expensive but in reality the food was very qualified, taste is so perfect, all ingredients were very delight. The staff at the restaurant was very well take care.They also give us free tofu and delicious dessert. If we have a chance to come back to Kunming will definitely stay at this hotel.

Stayed here for 2 nights during our trip to Kunming. It is conveniently located and within walking distances to the food & shopping streets. The staff are friendly and helpful! Will choose to stay here again.

1 night stay at spacious 2 double beds room. Each bed can fit 2 medium sized adults. 2 beds fit 4 adults. 30mins smooth ride from Kunming Changshui International Airport. Centrally located. Huge clean beautiful hotel. Reach hotel abt 9am and hotel reception was very kind and helpful. Staff can converse simple English. I was lucky they allow early check in. Wifi strength in hotel is low so you will need to have prep your own data arrangement from ur country. Tv channels are limited to chinese programmes. No netflix. Room view is city and the surrounding building light up at night. Night view is nice. We left the window open as outside air is more cooling. Its december and temp is mostly 10deg and below. Generally no bidets in toilets in China. No halal food in hotel. But just 20mins walk along Nanping Pedestrian street you can find halal food at the muslim community near Shuncheng street. Theres also an acient mosque called Shuncheng Mosque. PreBook trip.com airport transfer at 50sgd. Big 6 seater mpv. Driver assigned was professional and very punctual. Hassle free and highly recomend.

We stay here for 1 night only . The location is good .There is a restaurant sell roast goose and meat near the hotel about 2 min walk .Its cheap and taste good .10 min walk to shopping centre ..
