Again, Jiangye Resort hotel provide top 1 service while I stay. My hostess Manman prepared the room nicely and bring my stored luggage into the room when she learned that I will arrive late that night. Room is comfortable and very clean. Hotel team helped me ship some extra clothes to my family since I have no time to do by myself. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who need a nice hotel when visit Kunming:)

3rd time staying in Sofitel Kunming, finally got the name of my favourite bellboy Xiao Hou. Warm and bright smile, always rushing to our assistance even with parcel collection. Honestly the service staff here is top tier - everytime we stayed at Sofitel we never needed to hold a single bag of shopping or luggage as the minute we returned to the hotel they would recognise us and assist immediately when we arrive. And we were in and out nonstop for about 5-6days total. Also Nancy from the L49 restaurant who was the one who made sure we got blueberries one morning for our baby even tho it wasn't on the menu. Still have many staff who made out stays amazing, just didn't take down their names. They are an experienced team, had an awesome stay in Kunming.

Really loved my stay at Yilinlin (100 in mandarin, very punny!) the loft style room is unique and made the room feel spacious, with high windows and ceilings that let us have great views! There is 1 toilet in each floor, with the shower + bath (as well as a sauna I’m impressed!) on the 2nd floor where the bed is. The room was clean and looked new and modern. The staff at the reception were friendly + hospitable and it was easy to communicate with them via WeChat if we had any questions or requests (e.g. to tidy the room). Location is great - it’s near the metro and it’s convenient for Didi pick up to travel to various city attractions. It’s still a distance away from the main city attractions like Green Lake Park and Kunming Old Street but with Didi being so affordable and readily available, it’s honestly worth it compared to taking the metro especially if you’re travelling with older folks and/or kids. There are shopping malls in walking distance so it’s easy to get a wide variety of food and shopping options! I discovered quite a number of nice and famous bakeries in the shopping malls. If I ever have the chance to come back to Kunming, I would love to stay here again!

I chose this hotel for a business trip, and I didn't expect to be so surprised! The overall decoration style of the hotel is fashionable and elegant, and the quality is reflected in the details. The room is spacious and bright, with excellent lighting and a great view. The facilities and equipment are all available, and the hair dryer, coffee machine, etc. are all well-known brands, and they feel very good to use. The bathroom has a reasonable design of dry and wet separation, a stable hot water supply, and the toiletries smell fresh and pleasant. The hotel's service is impeccable, whether it is room service or security personnel, they are very polite and responsive. Stayed there for two nights. We had requested for a non-smoking room and was given one with a extremely smelly room. Fortunately, the hotel staff were really quick in replacing a new room for us, thus the 4 stars for their service. The design of the room is really unique too! A great place to stay if you are fond of quiet places as the location is pretty far from lively places and with limited food option around the area. Room was clean and spacious as well

This hotel is amazing, one of the best experience of all our trips around China. Staff are very friendly and helpful and they spoke good English. Breakfast was perfectly fine with a mixture of Chinese and western options. We had originally booked a deluxe queen room but the AC wasn’t working properly and the room became stuffy upon our arrival. We asked for help to fix it but the hotel offered us even a better solution. We were upgraded to a king suite, much bigger than our original booked room. This was a very generous offer. We will definitely come back to this hotel again in future.

The front desk was polite and responded to relevant questions in a timely manner. The room was clean and tidy. More importantly, it was convenient. I will stay here again next time I have a chance. The water is hot as soon as it is turned on.
